This is a traditional two bedroom cottage in the middle of Elterwater with stunning views out over Elterwater Common towards Red Bank and Loughrigg.
The slate stone cottage is located just behind our admin office, set back off Main Street, and only 100m away from The Britannia Inn and Slates cafe. Set out over two floors, you enter the property on the upper ground floor, where there is the kitchen, main living/dining room, and the two bedrooms (twin and a kingsize), then downstairs to the seperate toilet, second living room and small bathroom (shower over the bath and a wash basin). The property has been furnished to provide a comfortable and spacious accommodation for your stay, and we are offering this as a budget stay to provide access to this wonderful village and valley.
Langdale is one of the most dramatic parts of the Lake District with the Langdale Pikes, Cringle Crags and the ascent to Bowfell which is one of the routes to get up and across to Scarfell Pike. Elterwater is our own base, which is close to Chapel Stile - some fantastic places to eat and drink close by; Britannia Inn, Slates cafe, The Eltermere Inn Hotel and Lanty Slees to name a few of our favourites.
Facilties
Two bedrooms: kingsize bedroom with sink, and twin room (with optional zip and link if you would prefer a superking instead - let us know when you book). Well fitted kitchen, with dishwasher, microwave kettle, toaster and of course an oven and electric hob - full compliment of crockery and cutler and cooking pans etc. Large living/dining room with stunning views; smart TV and wifi second sitting room on the ground floor, with a day bed small bathroom with shower over the bath, and a seperate toilet. Please note there is only one toilet in this house, which is seperate to the shower room.
There is parking for up to two cars
Dogs are welcome Pets - allowed Smoking - not allowed
