Primrose Cottage is an end of terrace Cotswold stone property which sleeps four guests, in two beautifully appointed bedrooms, with a large bathroom. Dating back to the 1800s, this wonderful home away from home is laid out across three floors and has been sympathetically styled, combining stunning original features, including stone mullion windows and an inglenook fireplace, with modern facilities. Blockley Brook flows through the picturesque garden, an ideal spot to while away a sunny afternoon.
Accommodation This two bedroom holiday cottage in the charming village of Blockley is perfectly suited for two couples, or a family with older children, looking to explore the countryside and many attractions the North Cotswolds has to offer. The accommodation is laid out as follows:

Sitting room Full of character with an exposed Cotswold stone wall, original beams, inglenook fireplace with wood burner, Smart TV with on demand services only (guests to use their own logins), DVD player, Bluetooth speaker, two-seater sofa, two armchairs and selection of board games
Kitchen/dining room Stable door opening onto the garden, electric cooker, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, cafetière, washing machine/tumble dryer, and table with four chairs
First Floor
Bedroom 2 (Sleeps 2) Double bed, wardrobe and views of the lane and brook below
Family bathroom Bath with handheld shower attachment, loo and basin
Second Floor A door on the first floor landing conceals a staircase which leads up directly into the master bedroom
Master bedroom (Sleeps 2) Dual aspect, wrought iron king size bed, clothes hanging rail, armchair, mirror and hairdryer
Outside Pretty patio with table and four chairs, and lawn garden which leads to a gate, beyond which is a second garden area with countryside views and gate giving access to local walks. The flowing brook runs along the full length of the garden and there is a charcoal BBQ during the summer months. A bench at the front of the property is a sunny spot for morning coffee The Finer Details....
The maximum occupancy for this property is 4 guests. Please take consideration whilst booking as the layout, furnishings, and features of Primrose Cottage, Blockley are best suited to guests over the age of 8 (some features could pose safety risks for infants and very young children) Bed linen and towels are provided Free on street parking is available close to the cottage (the walk from the end of the road, where luggage can be unloaded, to Primrose Cottage is approximately 75 yards, on a flat footpath alongside the brook) 1 travel cot and 1 highchair are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided) Sorry, no pets Free WiFi Due to the valley location, mobile phone reception can be poor Telephone provided for local calls only Smart TV with on demand services only (guests to use their own login details) Enclosed garden Please note that there is a fast-flowing brook running though the garden Charcoal BBQ, April to October only (guests are responsible for providing charcoal and cleaning BBQ after use) Gas central heating system Starter supply of wood provided for the wood burning stove from October to April only There are steep stairs, low beams and a low window in the master bedroom The smoke and CO detectors operate on a sound only basis and, therefore, those who have serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm systems and could be at risk No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property
