About this property

Large Luxury water front property with private direct beach access and panoramic sea scapes from eve

Cambisgate is believed to have been built in the 1970s and designed to make the most of 180 degree sea views over the eastern Solent and towards the Hampshire and Sussex coasts. The property has some particularly spacious principal rooms all leading off onto a raised terrace or balcony providing panoramic and diverse sea views including across nearby Seagrove and Priory Bays.

The house is in a prime waterfront location and in addition to parking for a number of cars there is a garage and gardens to both the front and the rear with a gated access in the seawall leading onto the beach. The property extends to about 0.27 acre (0.1 ha.) with a beach frontage of about 26 metres and an average depth of about 48 metres.

So good we have already booked for next year.

OMG! This property is simply amazing. I want to keep it secret so that it is always free for me (!) but that wouldn't be fair. The location is wonderful, as close to on the beach that a property could be. A private gate to walk straight onto the beach and at high tide the water comes through this gate. A choice of three terraces. A very short walk into Seaview either on the beach or, at high tide, by road. The property was spotless and very comfortable. Everything one needed for the kitchen was supplied and happily all utensils etc. were clean and ready to use. Anyone who has stayed in a rental property before will know why I am mentioning this. Can I find anything to fault? No. We booked for another stay whilst we were still there which is probably enough of a recommendation in itself. Very happy indeed and sorry to leave at the end of our week's stay.

Another amazing stay

Recommendation enough that this was our second stay at Cambisgate. A wonderful property in every way and we would love to return. Sadly prices have been hiked so much by the owners that this now seems unlikely. But, if you can afford what they are asking then I would say this is truly a special place to stay and you'd not be disappointed. It feels like a home from home but with all the special touches none of us have in our own homes - like 6 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms (!) and a view to die for. Always something of interest to watch across the Solent from small sailing boats to huge cruise liners. The beach is at the bottom of the garden with your own private gate onto the beach. If you awake early enough you can watch the beautiful sunrises and perhaps a cruise liner gliding slowly into port before it leaves again that very evening. If you are lucky enough to be there for the full moon that is a beautiful sight with the moon shimmering on the sea. The large balcony reached through large doors from the sitting room and master bedroom means you can sit out late into the evening and enjoy these pleasures. A short walk at low tide via the beach to the nearby pub in Seaview and fantastic community shop, or via the road at high tide. Just a few minutes. Honestly, this is an amazing property.
