Ski-In/Ski-out studio condominium at Winter Park. Iron Horse has an on-site underground parking, ski rental, pool, hot tubs, fitness center and sauna. Enjoy your private balcony overlooking the pool and hot tubs. This studio features a full kitchen, gas fireplace and free WiFi. Sleeping accommodations include a Murphy Bed and Sleeper Sofa. Great location features access to the slopes without the crowds at the base area.

The Winter Park resort is a short ski run from the 5th floor bridge of the property. The only true ski-in/ski-out property in WinterPark where you never hike up to the property. **Ski-in/ski-out for intermediate skiers**

Good location for biking too. In addition the bike park at Winter Park base, this has good access to the full bike trail network surrounding Winter Park and Frasier.

The property provides a year-around indoor/outdoor pool and two hot tubs. A game room is located on the first floor. A work out gym, full lockers, and saunas overlook the pool area. Across the hallway from the gym is a masseuse.

Amazing location, truely ski in/out. For a studio, it was well laid out, Murphy bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking/dining supplies. Host was helpful in recovering forgotten items which was appreciated.

Communicative Hosts and Great Location

We stayed here for a weekend while my daughter had ski lessons at Winter Park. We came up later at night, and the hosts were so helpful with making sure I had all the info for parking and access codes. It was really easy! The condo is small but cozy, and the perfect size for our family of three. We loved the easy walk to the Corridor run and skiing down to the base of Winter Park.

Ski in/out and parking garage are great. Kitchen has everything we needed. Owner was quick to respond and fix missing sheets. Only complaint was the pillows- they are very thin. Thank you for sharing your place!

Decent Stay

The property was just as advertised. Small but exceptionally clean. The facilities are good and well maintained. My only complaints were: a) T door code was problematic on multiple occasions. Once I was locked out of the condo for 2 hours wearing only my swimsuit! B) The bus service in Winter Park is horrible. The posted schedule did not sync with actual arrivals and departures. Not a biggie, but I will rent a car next time

Ski in ski out great, building could use updating

11 digit entry code for building doors is inconvenient and difficult. Some studios could work but this unit felt too small for four. Wifi doesn't work which was the #1 complaint from the family. Not sure if wifi problem is the fault of the building or the unit but should be addressed. Could use new bedding, pillows. On a positive note, the manager was very responsive when we we're heading up and needed info. Pool and hot tub are great amenities which we enjoyed. Really do like the ski in ski out to the catwalk. Will probably pony-up for something more spacious and updated next time in WP.

Lee, Apologies for the wifi. We are up now and wifi was not working well at all. Unplugging and plugging the router by the TV resolved the issue and verified 200 Mbps downloads. This is a good general thing to remember when wifi isn't working. Routers will always restart automatically and usually fix connections issues. Note that there are a few 1 & 2 bedroom units at Iron Horse but the vast majority of the units are the 480 Sq. Ft studios we have. Note the pictures show the bed configuration. This place is for skiing. Not necessarily a place to hang out in. Glad you liked the true ski-in/ski-out of Iron-Horse. It really is the easiest ski-in/ski-out place on the mountain. Great time at this Condo, we will be back!

We had so much fun at the Iron Horse. The pool, hot tub, and game room were great for us and the kids. Although it was a studio, the Murphy Bed & pull out couch were easy to put away and we had enough space to hang out with our 9 & 13 year olds. Condo had everything we needed and Tim was quick to respond before and during the trip. We will definitely stay here again!

This property was very comfortable and had everything we needed, and some kitchen staples that were nice to have. We stay at the Iron Horse often and this and other VRBO's are nicer than those managed by the resort.

Great get away

Excellent place for a couple to get away and enjoy each other's company. Only complaint was the room was a bit warm we had the heat set on 60 and we even had to open a window at night and it was single digits out side I think it was from the temp set in the rest of the complex that kept it so warm.

We are a local family from Denver that learned to ski at Winter Park. Please enjoy our little bit of a great resort.

Why they chose this property

Great ski area and a really down-to-earth location. Iron Horse is not pretentious. We liked that it provides a full kitchen in a small foot print. We are very active so we wanted a smaller place with a great location to the activities we like.

What makes this property unique

Iron Horse is independent of the Alterra run Winter Park base and yet provides true ski-in/ski-out for the intermediate skier. It is also one of the few places to have a pool in addition to hot-tubs in Winter Park. It is a no-non sense studio with a full kitchen for people who are very active.
