Ideally located within walking distance of Matlock & Matlock Bath with stunning views of High Tor The Tollhouse was built in 1823 & has been lovingly renovated to create a uniquely eccentric holiday home that is ideal for a romantic break, a family holiday, adventure holiday or just as base to explore the Peak District. Our house is a fully detached two-storey property comprised of dining area, kitchen, spacious lounge with double sofa bed and original Challen baby grand piano, downstairs toilets, 2 large bedrooms and bathroom on the second floor. At the front of the house, there is a large roof top garden terrace accessible via both bedrooms with lounge chairs and large outdoor dining table. At the rear of the property, there is a small secluded patio. There is a secure external, lockable storage for bicycles, motorbikes and canoes on the side of the property. We use the Tollhouse as a family holiday home & hope you enjoy our small part of the Matlocks as much as we do!
