This historic cottage built in 1742 has bags of cosy character plus all modern conveniences, including wifi, a log burner, central heating, smart TV, two bedrooms with large and comfortable super king size beds, one of which can be split into a twin on request, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with bath and separate shower, a garden and patio, free parking and key box for own access. Available for both short or longer stays, it is perfect for visiting Matlock and within walking distance of its restaurants, cafe's and shops, and ideal for touring the Peak District, with Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall only 15 minutes away, and all the glorious surrounding countryside to explore, from picturesque villages and country pubs to exhilarating walking.

Cosy cottage, well equipped, conveniently situated
Lovely cottage equipped with all you need, conveniently situated. Lovely touch with welcome milk, etc, really appreciated, really great all round, would book here again, any time of year.
