Guests are invited in via the main entrance into a light and airy open plan living, kitchen and dining area. The wood burning stove being the focal point, is a welcome feature for cosy nights in with your loved one after a romantic walk taking in the spectacular High Force on a frosty winters day.

Stairs from the hallway lead to the master bedroom, further second bedroom and shower room. California Cottage is ideal for a small family, romantic getaway or two friends seeking a walking holiday from their doorstep.

Step foot outside and wander along the footpath into the town for a local pint, fish and chips, or a browse around the shops. For those seeking to enjoy a spot of fishing, permits can be purchased to fish the river Tees.
