Captain's Rest in Porthmadog, Gwynedd sleeps five guests in two bedrooms.
Captain's Rest consists of a kitchen/diner with electric oven, gas hob, fridge with ice box, microwave, washer/dryer, and dining seating, and a living/dining room with TV with DVD player and dining seating. The bedrooms consist of a third-floor twin and third-floor family room. There is a shower room with walk-in shower, basin, and heated towel rail, and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is a private balcony with furniture and roadside parking available. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Return year after year to Captain's Rest. Note: Electric vehicle charging is prohibited due to electrical and fire safety concerns. Note: Extra dogs are welcome but at a charge of 20 GBP each.

Situated on a rugged clifftop on its own private peninsula, Portmeirion, famous as the location of the TV show The Prisoner and the final episode of Cold Feet, is surrounded by miles of sandy beaches and woodlands. The area also boasts castles at Criccieth and Harlech, and superb unspoilt beaches such as Black Rock Sands, where the sands stretch as far as the eye can see. Also within reach is the famous Zip World Slate Caverns and Bounce Below where you can get involved with a variety of activities including the thrilling zip wires and underground caverns to explore; there is something here to suit the whole family.
