Lovely cottage located in the St.Marys area of Brixham.Sleeps 8 people -With 2 bathrooms one upstairs & one downstairs .Well equipped kitchen and secure gated patio garden area .We accept 3 dogs(there is a lovely exercise park )just up from the property .We have 2 parking spaces at the rear of the property . Free full fibre wifi .We are located 1mile walk from harbour .The cottage has local buses just outside the property that run to the town and kingswear .*PLEASE NOTE WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO BOOK SATURDAY TO SATURDAY .

On arrival, we found the property very well presented and well laid out for a larger family. Parking was adequate for two vehicles and a vehicle is a must as the walk into the town took around twenty minutes but, overall, we were very satisfied with the property.

Another great stay at Freesia cottage this time on a coastal walk charity team with 5 other friends. Nothing is too much trouble for Ceri the host is always prompt & polite answering any queries and does her utmost to make guests comfortable. The property as undergone an update since my last stay a few years ago its nicely decorated the beds are very comfortable & theres a nice fenced patio area to sit out and enjoy the sunshine with some food . After walking 30 miles in warm weather I was very happy having a relaxing shower and lay on the bed with a beautiful breeze & the sound of seagulls coming through the window. On arrival we received a lovely welcome pack of biscuits tea, coffee, hot chocolate ,even herbal teas were available and there looks to be a cream tea service on the weekly stays which is a lovely touch! I am writing a blog of our coastal charity walk and I will be recommending places to stay & eat along the way and this place & the beautiful area of Brixham will be high on that list (Value for money & a clean comfortable stay).Thankyou & hope to visit again soon !

Well maintained property 30 mins walk to town but plenty of bus and taxi services. General store 5 minutes along the road. Good hosts who respond quickly and are very thoughtful. Milk biscuits tea and coffee there for arrival. Cream tea delivered mid stay, a lovely touch ! Plenty of towels supplied and comfy beds and bedding we all slept well. Well equipped kitchen We had some difficulties with internal doors as they are very heavy fire doors, which swing closed, making it hard if carrying things in and out. I Would be on edge if young children were with me in case they trapped their fingers in these doors. Would advise taking some door wedges!Most windows were locked or fixed shut and this made it feel quite claustrophobic and a fear you would be trapped should there be a fire. No keys for the windows were found. Look out for cat poo on the path into the property, (2 cats live next door) personally I would advise a cat scarer be installed, because that cat mess would smell even worse in the summer!!No hair dryer provided as their insurers ban them as a fire hazard! We went out and brought oneIn summary an enjoyable stayLittle things need addressing which i’m sure the owners will deal with.
