Immaculate and quirky property (perfect for anyone who loves books!) in a beautiful rural location with functional kitchenette (microwave, toaster, kettle and sink) - we appreciated the tea, coffee, butter and milk that were provided. Couple of things to be aware of, there is no TV and if you have more than 2 people staying no sofa (as it becomes the 2nd bed) or soft seating apart from a chaise longue which couldnt seat more than one person comfortably.

About the host
Hosted by Tamsin
We are both artists and enjoy welcoming people who want to explore the area. We also travel a lot and know how people usually just want their own comfortable space so that is what we provide. We have a 9 year old son who you may occasionally hear!
Why they chose this property
Right on the border of Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire and close to the A303 it is a good base for exploring the surrounding countryside and attractions. There are large woodlands at the back of the house which are accessed from a footpath down the side of the property.
What makes this property unique
Our house is a converted modern Haybarn with spacious rooms and designed with lots of natural materials. We have solar panels and solar thermal and we ask guests to respect the eco- nature of the house. The house is surrounded by trees and wildflowers. The library room is full of books and games which you are welcome to browse whilst you are staying.
