The home
Original Victorian character meets contemporary comfort across three floors. The cosy lounge has a Smart TV, books and games for relaxed evenings in. The spacious dining room, also with Smart TV, is ideal for group dinners. The fully equipped modern kitchen has everything you need to cook from scratch or throw together a quick breakfast before heading out onto the fells.
The bedrooms
Three beautifully appointed bedrooms sleep up to 6 comfortably. Two generous king-size rooms, one convertible to twin, and a third double bedroom. Two bathrooms: one with shower, one with both bath and shower. Fresh towels, toiletries, hairdryer and iron all provided.
Outside
Your own private garden with seating, ideal for morning coffee or an evening drink after a day exploring. Free parking directly behind the property.

Kendal town centre is a 5-minute walk where you will find independent cafés, restaurants, bars, Boots pharmacy and convenience stores all on your doorstep. We're so pleased you enjoyed the location, the kitchen, and found everything well equipped. It's always great to hear that our response times hit the mark too!
We appreciate your feedback on storage and we've recently added dedicated drawer space in each bedroom so guests now have plenty of room for their belongings, and there has always been hanging space available both downstairs and at the entrance to each staircase. We'll look at how we can make this more visible so future guests know exactly what's available on arrival.
Your point about the staircases is really appreciated and something we want to be upfront about. The property is a characterful Victorian townhouse across multiple floors, and we do mention this in our listing, but we'll make sure it's even clearer to help guests with mobility considerations make the right choice for them.

We love that guests can walk to dinner, then wake up and be on a Lakeland fell by mid-morning.
