A multitude of interesting walks from the door and a traditional pub five minutes away, in the centre of the village. Safe, enclosed childrens play area 100m walk, where the village goats can be fed. A real away from it all cottage with every facility you'd need for the perfect break, bluetooth speakers for your music, free 20Mb broadband, slipper bath, double power shower, under floor heating in all bathrooms.
Each bedroom has it's own shower/bathroom, oak is the timber of choice and the exposed oak floors enhance the contemporary interior design. Visitors return time and time again, some using it as their 'special place' for a honeymoon. Ideally located to visit all of the North's natural wonders, The Lakes, Yorkshire Dales, Northern Pennines as well as The Roman Wall, Durham Cathedral, Bowes Museum, York Minster.
There is one double room and one twin room (which can be converted to a king size, please mention this upon booking if required) upstairs both en-suite and downstairs is another double room en-suite.
Prices are based on 4 people using only the two rooms upstairs, we lock the downstairs bedroom when not in use. If you do require the third bedroom please contact us for a quote.
Dogs are allowed, a maximum of 2 dogs from the same household, at a price of £5.00 per dog per night. Please mention in your booking if you are bringing dogs.
