About this property

The Terraced Andy Warhol Gallery

A real gem of a two bedroom apartment two bathrooms split on two levels in the middle of Bloomsbury.
Located on a ground and lower ground apartment (no lift ) of a period elegant building.

This is how London should be experienced – right in the thick of it in a charming townhouse apartment on a leafy street. Your neighbourhood is the well-heeled Bloomsbury where golden-bricked townhouses line the pavements and Russell Square, the British Museum and an endless selection of restaurants and bars in Covent Garden are all just a short walk away. Charles Dickens lived just up the street and you can visit his childhood home turned museum in a matter of minutes.

Inside, big Georgian windows are the focus of the living room . The open living, kitchen and dining room is all style with gallery-white walls keeping things feeling bright. on the basement level two bedrooms: when it comes to hitting the hay, a sprawling king-size bed and a double bed leads to sound sleep.

Avoid this listing and any from Arcore Hosting. Not as advertised: Lists a king bed in a bedroom, but this is a queen. The dryer does not work. The host said a dryer was not listed, and did not respond when I sent a screenshot showing it is. We had to pay extra and lose time to take our clothes to a laundromat. Host issues: At check-in we reported that the unit was very hot and that the AC was not working. The host responded that they would look into it. There were no instructions in the check-in email for how to work the AC, or in the unit. When we followed up, we were told to simply "use the remotes". We tried this several times, looked online and tried the manufacturer's instructions, and finally requested that someone come out and assist. We were told that maintenance was contacted, but never heard back. Upon many follow-ups over 4 days, we were generically told to check the remotes and try again. On our last day, after requesting a partial refund, someone finally came, pointed the remote in a very specific location right up against a floor vent, and the AC worked. This was NEVER explained to us. They still denied our request for reimbursement because "using the AC is the responsibility of the guest" despite never giving adequate instructions. Ultimately, we spent 4/5 days/nights without AC which we paid a premium for(!!) after repeatedly asking for help. Separately, the power went out in the downstairs bathroom on day 3, and this was never fixed even after reporting.
