About this property

Luxury Cornish Home, Modern Cabin, Central St.Agnes Village, Sleeps 8, Nr Beach

This incredible home for eight is like no other. From the front, a whimsical white-washed traditional Cornish cottage. Out the back, a stylish contemporary cabin straight out of Scandinavia. Inside, a calm and modern sanctuary awaits, with an outside terrace for alfresco dinners in the sun and a cosy living space to snuggle up when it’s cool. It’s easy to spend most of your time here, but with all of St Agnes right on your doorstep and the beach a walk away you’ll love exploring the local area.

- Centre of the village
- Secluded garden with contemporary cabin
- 15-20 min walk to the beach - Trevaunance Cove
- Kayaking, Paddleboarding and Surfing all available at the beach - Guided tours available
- 30 second walk to nearest pub and restaurant
- Around 10 pubs and restaurants all in short walking distance (5- 10 mins)
- Excellent butchers, traditional fruit and vegetable store, convenience shop, Church and the award winning St Agnes Bakery all within 30 second walk of the cottage
- 25-30 min drive to Newquay and St Ives

It’s rare to find a home with such a seamless blend of traditional and modern. The front of the property mirrors that of a traditional Cornish cottage, boasting sash windows and a pretty pink front door. Step through into your cosy living space, decorated in fresh whites and calming neutrals - it’s hygge at its best. Snuggle up on the sofa when storms roll in, getting comfy in front of the wood burner. Or take to the dining table for board games that last long into the night.

Upstairs, find a light and bright kitchen with everything you need to cook up a feast - make sure to grab the day’s catch from the local fishmongers or the local butchers just opposite! Plus, there’s a stylish king-size bedroom with additional sofa bed and a separate bathroom that boats a luxury walk-in waterfall shower. From the kitchen, you can get direct access to the garden where you’ll find the cabin adjacent.

Two additional beds are found in the scandi-inspired cabin, finished with stunning Crittall doors and stylish interiors. In contrast to the cottage, the modern space has an open-plan feel. Find a king-size bed, a bunk bed and an ensuite bathroom that accommodates four. Plus, there’s a kitchenette for added convenience.

The whole property is set up to enjoy indoor-outdoor living, with a beautiful garden that boasts peace and tranquillity. And best yet, you’re located in one of St Agnes’ most enviable locations. A stroll down the hill takes you to the soft shores of Trevaunance Cove, whilst the other way leads to pubs, restaurants, bakeries and shops.

Guest access

Guests will have access to the whole cottage and separate cabin. A key safe is present for easy and convenient access

Other things to note
Please note, this is a very unique set up which really leans into the quirky nature of the period properties in the area. As such, it may not be suitable for those with mobility limitations as stairs need to be climbed to access the majority of the property.

However this hugely versatile accommodation would suit lots of guests.

Due to the multi/separate accommodation on one site, this property would be ideal for:

- Two couples or two families in separate accommodation on one property
- A large family with older teenagers to allow the teenagers freedom away from the parents in the garden cabin
- A family with a baby or toddler in the cottage and grandparents in the garden cabin for that essential help on holiday
- Two families with children (cabin has a kingsize bed and a bunk bed) and the cottage offers a kingsize bed and sofa bed, plus an additional cot bed for one small child and a baby)
- A group of friends (up to 8)
