The Red Lion at Northmoor in Oxfordshire is known for its character and charm. Close to the Thames Path, the 17th-century pub has a cosy feel with oak-beamed ceilings and log fires. The garden is spacious and peaceful. Our menu includes tasty, home-cooked pub favourites, including a delicious Sunday Roast lunch and a menu celebrating British seasonal produce, including roast dinners.
The pub offers a good selection of fine wines, cask ales, draught beer, lager and cider, spirits and soft drinks.
The pub is known for its hospitality, and whether you have two legs or four, or are 9 or 90 years old (or anything in between or younger or older!), you are sure to receive a warm welcome.
We hold regular quizzes and bingo nights, as well as hosting live music. Shepherd Hut residents have an inclusive cooked breakfast to be taken in the pub on each morning of residence. Please note the pub is closed on Mondays (apart from Shepherd Hut breakfasts). Lunch and dinner are available from Tuesday to Saturday. Sunday lunch is served 12:00 to 16:00.
