As you enter the property you are welcomed into the heart of the home with the large living space. This is a fantastic space to get everyone together with a large L-shaped sofa, two-seater and armchair to get cosy in in front of the Smart TV and enjoy a good film after a long day of exploring. There is also a football table which is perfect for games nights.

Also on the upper floor you will find the 3 comfortable bedrooms; the master suite has a king-size bed, plenty of storage for belongings, a TV and an ensuite shower room with sink and WC. The other two bedrooms, one double and one twin also have plenty of storage, excellent quality mattresses and luxury crisp white bed linen.

Moving downstairs and you will find the large open-plan kitchen and dining room with patio doors leading out into the garden. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to cook some tasty meals during your stay. There is a oven, electric hob and large fridge, plus plenty of storage for all your food. The dining table sits 6 comfortably and there is a TV mounted on the wall if you wish for some background noise. Off this space is the utility room/ games room. This space offers another fantastic spot to store walking boots and there are bike racks available too. In the utility space you will find a washer/ drier and a full-size freezer. There is also a darts board and seating area, great for a darts match! The ground floor is also where you will find the spacious family bathroom with separate bath and shower, WC, and sink. This modern, relaxing space is ideal for a bath after a day on the fells.

Leading out of the property to the garden where you will find a lovely patio area with seating looking toward the fell views, ideal for those warm summer evenings. The garden is spacious and ideal for the kids to burn off some energy. After a long day get yourself comfortable in the hot tub and enjoy the view of the sun setting over Skiddaw with a glass of something.

There is private parking for 1 car, further on-street parking available.
This fabulous cottage is approximately 0.5 miles from the fabulous independent shops and pubs, 1.5 mile walk to see the famous Castlerigg Stone Circle. Why not make a picnic and wander down to the beautiful lake to follow all or part of the 10-mile route along its shores or to hire canoes/kayaks to take yourselves out on the water.
Being next door to Skiddaw Heights may prove ideal for two families looking to holiday nearby.

Great house, great location.

Lovely house, 5 adults and 2 babies fit easily. Big bedrooms and lounge area, and a good well equipped kitchen. Hot tub was spotless with great views over Skiddaw. Very central. Highly recommend.
