About this property
Arwel Cottage
Welcome to Arwel Cottage - your perfect home-from-home on the beautiful Llyn Peninsula!
Arwel Cottage has been tastefully and sympathetically renovated, blending original charm with high quality furniture, antiques, and soft furnishings throughout. Every detail has been carefully chosen to create a cosy, welcoming retreat with plenty of character.
Nestled in the charming village of Llanbedrog on the scenic Llyn Peninsula, Arwel Cottage is perfectly positioned for exploring the best of North Wales. Surrounded by stunning coastline, sandy beaches, and picturesque walking trails, you’ll also find lovely local villages nearby, including Abersoch, Aberdaron & Nefyn - each boasting great restaurants, cosy pubs, and welcoming bars. Whether you’re after adventure, relaxation, or a taste of local life, you’ll have it all right on your doorstep.
Bedrooms:
Settle in and make yourself at home - Arwel Cottage sleeps up to six across three comfy bedrooms.
The master bedroom features a king-size bed and a lovely ensuite with a double shower - perfect for a touch of luxury. The second bedroom has two full-size twin beds with partial sea views, ideal for friends or children. There’s also a cosy double bedroom with a partial sea view, plus a handy family bathroom with a bath and shower over it - great for relaxing soaks or a quick freshen up after a day at the beach.
Lounges:
Downstairs, you’ll find two inviting lounges - both with their own log-burning stoves, perfect for those cosy evenings in or unwinding after a day of exploring. The cottage is packed with character, and we provide some wood, firelighters, and kindling to get you going.
Kitchen & Dining:
The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for your stay, including a premium cooker, fridge, and a Nespresso coffee machine. We’ll get you started with coffee pods, tea bags, sugar, a bottle of milk, and a chilled bottle of wine - so you can settle in straight away. There’s also a bright conservatory with a large dining table that opens onto the garden - perfect for lazy breakfasts or evening get-togethers with family and friends.
Outdoor Space:
The garden is a real sun trap, with comfy outdoor sofas and chairs and a gas BBQ. Out front, you’ll find a classic, colourful country cottage garden.
Parking:
There is off-road parking for two large or three small cars and from May 2026 we will also have an EV charger for our guests to use. Simply scan, pay and plug int to charge.
Dog Friendly:
We’re super dog-friendly - up to two dogs are welcome (just £25 per dog, per stay). We provide water and food bowls together with dog blankets - just bring your own dog beds. Dogs must stay downstairs, and we kindly ask you to keep them off the furniture.
Beach & Adventure:
For beach days, you’ll find deck chairs, a windbreak, and a handy trolley to take everything down to Llanbedrog beach which is just a 10-minute stroll away, or a two minute drive. The beach has public toilets, a car park and a restaurant/bar and is a very safe beach for swimming. Paddle boards are available to hire from us for £75 per week (per board) if you’re feeling adventurous!
A few things to note:
- The property isn’t suitable for wheelchair users, and all bedrooms are up a flight of stairs, so it might not be ideal for guests with mobility issues.
- Children are very welcome, but must be supervised upstairs at all times. A travel cot with mattress and a high chair can be found upstairs in the cupboard of the twin room.
- Taller people will need to watch their head whilst going under some of the doorways and up the stairs.
- No smoking or vaping inside, please.
- No events or parties.
We can’t wait to welcome you to Arwel Cottage - where every detail is thought of, and you can truly relax.

The standard of accommodation from the fixtures and fittings to the quality of the equipment and furnishings was excellent. I couldn't find fault and the comprehensive instructions and guide was very helpful. I would definitely recommend to others.
