Hi, we are Yannis and Rena, owners of Ma Maison.

A 50m² fully renovated apt with car parking and a big balcony(20m2),located 200mts from metro. Sleep on Egyptian cotton linens, relax at the shower cabin with the hydromasage, lift the tent, have breakfast at the balcony, watch cable tv. We create feelings and memories for you. Hospitality isn’t accommodation only. It’s about going above and beyond in every aspect. If you want all these, this is your choice.

It will be an honor to host you Ma Maison "2" is an apartment located in Ano Patissia district, right in the heart of Athens. This is the right place if you want to discover the city. It is consisted by one bedroom, one spacious bathroom, a kitchen and one very big living room connected with the kitchen.

Let’s see the details:

•Strong WIFI-high speed internet for you,

•Centralized heat/cold air system connected through channels which you control remotely,

•Centralized Solar water heater system for immediate and continuous use of hot water plus an individual electric water heater for emergency situations,

•Security door, smoke and carbon monoxide detector, fire extinguisher, first aid kit,

•Big balcony with beautiful surroundings and quiet. The 20m² balcony has 2 comfortable chairs so you can relax and enjoy your breakfast or wine. For an even better experience you can lift the motorized tent and enjoy the garden and the little church just a breath away,

•Comfortable Italian design sofa with 4 movable pillows which can be transformed into a double bed and a flat 32inch tv with a cable tv (nova) and a lot of free satellite channels plus a radio cd player. All of the above can be enjoyed in a relaxing atmosphere with the help of the led spot lighting,

•Modern kitchen with electrical appliances such as fridge with freezer, oven with hobs, coffee machines (nespresso and filter), toaster, boiler, juice extractor. There are pots and cutleries, dishes, glasses, teapot, coffee kit and also coffee (nespresso and filter), sugar, tea (special kinds of Greece),

•Bathroom which has a shower cabin with a hydromassage, hairdryer with extra 110 volts inlet

•Bedroom with a double bed with anatomic mattress, pillows and all weather quilt. There is a large closet with hangers for your clothes and personal items.

•The breakfast consists of coffees (espresso and filter), various kinds of teas, drinking chocolate, chamomille, wheat rusks, butter and greek honey.

For health and safety reasons smoking is permitted only on the balcony which as you can see is very spacious and comfortable. Thank you for your cooperation.

Perfect location and beautiful property!

My wife and I booked this property for the start of our Greek honeymoon and was absolutely perfect! The location was great for easily walking to the metro and into the neighborhood for food, cocktails and coffee! Yannis was also incredibly helpful with arranging taxis services to get to and from the airport( not to mention the delicious Greek honey at the house)!! We can’t wait to come back!

The hosts were very accommodating and even offered to have a car service to pick me up from the airport. They allowed me to check in early and the property was great. Exactly like the pictures. It was very secure and in a great walkable area with the metro close by.

We had an amazing 3 night stay at this apartment. Very clean, has pretty much everything you need. (Could use a few more ice trays). We checked in later than expected due to flight delays. We were met with a very nice, helpful man who explained everything we would need to know about our stay. Parking was inside the gate and very secure. The host was quick to respond to any questions that we had. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodations in the Athens areal. You won't be disappointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Ma Maison property. Before even getting to the apartment, we were so grateful to Yannis for helping to arrange transportation from the airport. Not only was our driver a joy to chat with, but he also helped us to bring our luggage into the apartment and gave us a tour of all of the property's amenities. Everything was immaculate, and the AC was a welcome treat after our hot Athens adventures. We loved the location because it was away from all the hustle and bustle, but only a short walk to the metro stop. During our stay, Yannis was responsive and easy to communicate with as he also helped us to secure transportation to the cruise port. We would highly recommend this wonderful property - especially as a before or after cruise stop!

The photos of the property were a fantastic example of everything we saw when we arrived. It was exceptionally clean and welcoming, with modern decor, a well-appointed kitchen, additional linens, a beautiful outdoor balcony, and private parking (which was a tremendous perk as we had a rental vehicle). Yannis and Rena ensured we knew how to check in, had someone to welcome us and show us important things for our stay, and were always available and incredibly responsive. They clearly cared about the experience of their guests and were absolutely wonderful! The property is within walking distance of several restaurants, bakeries, and grocery stores. It is safe and near to major roads to site see within Athens or travel outside of the area. FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE

First of all, our host Yannis was terrific, and arranged to have a taxi pick us up from our Viking cruise ship. When we arrived at his property, it was even better then the pictures on the VRBO listing. It was immaculately clean, and he thought of everything a renter might need, down to shampoo, body soap, kitchen items were complete, including coffee, tea, hot chocolate, apples, toast and honey. He spoke excellent English and was constantly available to us via Whatsup App the full 4 days that we were there. The neighborhood is completely safe, walking distance to the grocery store, as well as many restaurants. His TV included English speaking channels, WIFI and a stereo system. This has been one of our many VRBO experiences, and we highly recommend this unit for visitors to Athens.

I loved it.

The property looks exactly like the picture posted. I loved the super modern look and feel of it. It is beautiful. The bathroom shower is awesome. It has the rain shower head and other amenities. The apartment is perfect from the decor of the bedroom and living room to the private balcony and sleek kitchen. The owners really makes you feel special. Yannis personally greets you and gives an overview of the property and helpful information about Athens and things to do. The property is situated near a wonderful Greek bakery, grocery store and 2 minutes from the metro. The neighborhood is safe to walk around. On Mondays, there is a fresh produce market a block away. Awesome Apartment and Great Location

My wife and I were visiting Athens for the first time. Several travel bloggers suggested staying in a hotel on your first visit to Greece. We don't stay in a hotel very often and chose to go the VRBO route. We could not have been happier with our choice. The apartment is located in a secure building in a neighborhood filled with local residents and close to shops and just a couple of blocks from the metro. The apartment was exactly as depicted in the photos. Yannis arranged for VIP pick up service from the port quite late the night we arrived. We also used the VIP service for our very early morning departure. Check in was a breeze. We only had a couple of simple questions while we were there and Yannis was very quick to respond. I don't know that we will ever be in Athens again, but if we find ourselves returning, we will not hesitate to stay here again. Delightful apartment and great owners!!

Highly recommend this place! Yannis was wonderful in keeping in touch with us, and even arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport. Unfortunately we were not able to meet Yannis, but he had his friend Tolis ready to greet us at the place. He went through everything we needed to know and made sure we felt at home. The place is clean and comfy. The extra touches like being able to choose between ground or Nespresso coffee, fresh apples and honey , and personalize coffee mugs, were very much appreciated! We were a short walk from the train station which easily took us to the Acropolis and to Piraeus Port. The neighborhood felt very safe. I do wish we had more time to try the bakery and the restaurant that were close by. My favorite part in staying here was sitting on the back deck and listening to the birds and sounds of the neighborhood.Thank you Yannis and Rena for making our short time in Athens very comfortable and enjoyable! Beautiful property as described, Just Book it.

The property is as beautiful as shown in the pictures. The description is accurate, it is very near to the metro station and also to the main road from where you can get the Electric buses to go to various places in and around the city. The host, Giannis and Rena are a wonderful couple and they greeted me when I arrived, explained me about the various facilities in their apartment and the basic rules. The check in was very smooth. Giannis was always available on whatsapp and phone for whatever things I needed. There is a small tablet in the apartment which contains important and useful information to move around the city, like places to eat, places of interest, transportation extra. The neighbourhood is safe and is good for Solo Traveller or for families. I shared the pictures with my family about this apartment and they are so excited that next time they would want to come to Greece and live in this apartment and spend the holidays here. All you have to do is just book it without giving a second thought. 👌

Great location in a perfect apartment

We stayed here for three nights in late March, and were very impressed and happy with the apartment. The location is great, being a 5-minute walk to a metro stop with a 15-minute ride to the Acropolis, and also not far off the major roadway circling Athens. The parking was especially helpful, as street parking is tough in this city. The neighborhood itself is well populated with shops and cafes, no lack of places to eat. The tablet device that Yannis and Rena provide includes all manner of tips and suggestions for eating both nearby and in central Athens (and many other subjects) and is a very thoughtful resource. The apartment itself is very modern and very tastefully furnished, excellent kitchen appliances (including the beautiful red refrigerator!) and tableware, and a nice little single cup coffeemaker (Nespresso-type). Having a washing machine is so helpful, and plenty of space to dry your clothes. The bed was comfortable, the wi-fi was excellent, and there was sufficient hot water once we learned how to control the water heater. Yannis was always available almost immediately by text if we had any questions. This was a perfect place for us and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Why they chose this property

I was brought up in this neighborhood. It is a residential area that is very safe with everything that you might need within walking distance(supermarkets, bakeries, coffee shops, fruit markets, traditional Greek restaurants, pharmacies, commercial shops, banks, etc).
While it is central, it is very quiet and safe. The main advantage is that you will need about 15 minutes to get anywhere in the historical centre while you are just 500 metres away from National Road.
Through metro network (Ag. Eleftherios) you can go easily from the one side of the city to the other in order to see every corner and aspect of Athens. Acharnon and Patission streets are 300 metres from home. From there, buses leave on a very frequent base for Monastiraki, Thissio and Constitution Square as well as to North (Kifissia) and South (Piraeus). The daily travel card for all means of transportation costs 4,5€ and the five-day card costs 9€ which we can supply on your behalf upon request.
If you have a car then the National Highway is 500 meters away with easy access to both directions (North and South) while Acharnon and Patission streets (300 meters range) will take you downtown in 10 minutes.
