Pine Marten is a cosy Canadian-style log cabin crafted from red cedar, offering a romantic retreat for couples. Dogs are warmly welcomed, with a bed, treats, bowl, and towel provided, and gates on the newly renovated elevated deck provide a secure enclosed area. Unwind in the hot tub on the deck, nestled quietly among the trees. Just a short stroll along a walkway leads to your private BBQ hut and seating area, where alfresco dinners under the stars await. Inside, the cabin offers a modern kitchen, cosy sitting room with smart TV, and a bedroom with luxurious linens and plush robes.

The lodge is surrounded by wildlife, including deer, red squirrels, pine martens, and soaring eagles. Guests can meet the lodge’s friendly donkeys, Sam and Rodney. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the miles of hiking trails, scenic cycling routes, and nearby boating opportunities through some of Scotland’s most stunning landscapes. Fishing is available in season our private one-mile beat on the River Add for salmon and trout, or on the surrounding lochs.

History is woven into the area: Kilmichael Glen features ancient standing stones, carved rocks, and burial cairns, while the Kilmartin Museum brings 12,000 years of heritage to life. Dunadd Hillfort, once the capital of Dál Riata, offers breathtaking panoramic views.

Food lovers are well catered for, with fresh venison from the neighbouring estate, local seafood, and excellent restaurants and cafés in Lochgilphead. An inviting pub is just 10 minutes’ away offering delicious food and a warm welcome.
