Wildflowers Cottage - Bourton-on-the-Water
Visitors flock to Bourton-on-the-Water to spend time amongst this picture-postcard setting. The views are synonymous with the Cotswolds and staying at Wildflowers Cottage you are walking distance of all the attractions.
The cottage is in a quiet location and feels welcoming as soon as you step through the door. Natural tones suit its setting with soft green furnishings reflecting the garden views. On the ground floor is a kitchen and an open plan sitting/dining room. Comfortably sitting all guests you can make the most of family meals, taking the time to put phones away and spend this valuable time together. There are board games for rainy days, a selection of books and TV. Upstairs are three bedrooms, two double rooms and a bunk room for children, suiting a multi-generational family getting together to explore the Cotswolds. Each room is light and bright and the master bedroom has its own en-suite shower room.
Stepping outside there is a dining terrace which seats six around a wooden table. Set the table for a feast and linger here on sunny days. There is space for the children to play safely and you can always retreat here to start your day with a bit of peace and quiet.
Ground Floor
Kitchen
You'll find everything you need for preparing meals in the kitchen at the front of the house. A fridge/freezer, oven and hob, washing machine and a dishwasher are all here. Head out to buy some local supplies at one of the nearby farm shops to cook a delicious dinner for your group.
Cloakroom
Just opposite the kitchen is a compact cloakroom with a WC and basin.
Sitting/Dining Room
The hear of the home is the comfortable sitting/dining room. Touches of soft sage green bring the outdoors in and complements the garden view through the French doors. This room is split between a dining area with a table and chairs seating six and a sitting area with a three-seater sofa, two armchairs and a stool. Read a book at the end of the day, watch TV or play a board game together in the evening.
First Floor
Bedroom One
The master bedroom at Wildflowers Cottage is at the back of the house, giving it a view across the garden. A double bed sits between two bedside tables and you have both a wardrobe and built-in storage.
En-Suite
In the en-suite is a shower, WC and basin.
Bedroom Two
At the front of the house, bedroom two also has a double bed sitting between two bedside tables. There is a wardrobe so you can unpack.
Bathroom
The main bathroom has a bath, WC and bathroom and will mainly be shared between guests of bedroom two and three. It is perfect for bathtime with the children.
Bedroom Three
Made for younger guests, bedroom three has a set of bunk beds. This room is not suitable for adults.
Outside
Your private garden has a lawned area and a dining terrace. Children can play here, bring meals out on sunny days or pop a bottle of champagne to celebrate a special occasion. There is a garden gate which takes you out to your parking spaces.
