About this property

3 Bed in Southwold (oc-rvil)

Unwind in this stylish coastal home which is perfect for a small family or group of friends plus one canine companion who want the buzz of a traditional seaside town but also enjoy lazy beach days and want to be within easy reach of nature reserves. The interiors of this property are bright and elegant with characterful period features like wooden flooring, large bay windows and feature fireplaces.

Step inside and discover the laid-back and comfortable lounge with soft sofas, contemporary touches and a Victorian feature fireplace. Continue into the spacious kitchen/diner with coastal chic decor, wooden furnishings, modern appliances plus a table with seating for six. Completing the ground floor is a wetroom bathroom. Climb the stairs to reach the first floor with a family bathroom boasting a rolltop bath plus two bedrooms – a king-size and a twin. The second floor has a double room with an en-suite. Outside is an enclosed garden with a patio and furniture.

While staying in the heart of the Suffolk seaside town of Southold you’ll be surrounded by cosy cafes, seafood restaurants and historic landmarks – such as the lighthouse, cannons and pier (within 0.5 miles). Stroll to the beach (less than 200 metres) for a dip in the sea with Fido – canine companions are allowed in off-peak season. If you’re visiting in summer head to Denes Beach (0.5 miles) which has no restrictions. Cross the river to find the small village of Walberswick (1.5 miles) where you can stop at the tea room before enjoying a stroll along the Suffolk Coast National Nature Reserve (3 miles) through the Dunwich River Bridge hiking area. In the opposite direction is Benacre National Nature Reserve (5.5 miles) where you can enjoy some bird watching among the lagoons and waterfront wildland.
