New Harborough Bungalow is a beautiful barn conversion, one of a group of former farm buildings in a wide green valley just outside the Peak District National Park. The property has been furnished and equipped to an incredible standard. There is great attention to detail in its furnishings, décor, colours and textures. The open plan living room/kitchen is absolutely charming. There is a super shower room and the bedroom with its super king size bed, crisp linen and fluffy towels is an utter delight.
Enjoy the beautiful rolling countryside that surrounds Derbyshire's famous stone quarrying areas. Wander through the valley to Harboro' Rocks or enjoy Harboro Clay Pigeon Shooting nearby. Brassington is a lovely village with a jumble of cottages across the hillside, great pubs and lovely walks through beautiful countryside all around. Carsington Water has water sports, cycle trails and birdwatching all just a ten-minute drive away. The historic little town of Wirksworth is close by where you can explore its heritage trail and railway, range of local shops, pubs, restaurants and even a small cinema. Close to Dove Dale, there is the lovely town of Ashbourne with pubs, restaurants, designer clothes shops and antique emporiums.
Set in the glorious Derbyshire Dales on the edge of the Peak District National Park, explore Matlock Bath with its cable cars and riverside prom and nearby Cromford Mill and Canal. Magnificent Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are just up the Derwent Valley. Venture beyond famous Bakewell and you are in the Dark Peak with sparkling rivers, picturesque villages, incredible views from the grit stone edges and country pubs galore.
