About this property
4 Bed in Broad Haven (oc-t27866)
Located in the charming coastal village of Broad Haven, this picturesque cottage is the perfect base for a family retreat to the seaside with its homely atmosphere, ocean views, courtyard garden and easy access to the Blue Flag beach.
Inside, the cottage features a spacious dining room with sea views and feature stone walls leading into the lounge area, where a cast iron multi-fuel burner adds a cosy touch. The lounge is furnished with two three-seater leather sofas, a two-seater sofa, and a Smart TV for enjoyable evenings in. The kitchen retains all the charm of a traditional cottage, and there’s an adjacent breakfast room, perfect for savouring your morning coffee. Completing the ground floor is a convenient shower room. Heading upstairs, you’ll discover four bedrooms. The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed, sea views, and an original feature fireplace. Two additional double rooms provide comfortable accommodation, with one enjoying sea views too. There is also another bedroom that has two single beds. The family bathroom completes the cottage’s interior. To the side of the property, there’s an enclosed courtyard garden that offers views of the sea and provides an outdoor seating area, making it an ideal spot to unwind and take in the coastal atmosphere.
The village is renowned for its large golden sand beach (200 meter walk), which connects with Little Haven (1 mile) during low tide. Broad Haven offers a delightful array of cafes, shops, restaurants, and a welcoming seafront pub. This location also provides easy access to the scenic Pembrokeshire Coast Path, allowing you to immerse yourself in the stunning beauty of St Brides Bay. For day trips, consider a visit to Britain’s smallest city, St David’s (15 miles), or embark on a boat trip to Skomer Island via Martin’s Haven (9.5 miles) to see the impressive colonies of Pembrokeshire puffins.
