About this property

4 Bed in Whitstable (oc-s28124)

Perfectly positioned on the beach for enjoying coastal walks as well as a variety of water sports including windsurfing, kite surfing and sailing. Why not enjoy a bike ride along the Crab and Winkle Way or ride along the coast to Herne Bay. Whitstable is famous for its oysters which are celebrated every August at the Oyster Festival, and the town is a haven for keen foodies, with several local pubs and restaurants just moments from the cottage. For a spot of culture, head to nearby Faversham or Canterbury, which is home to the country’s oldest Cathedral. Visit the ancient ruins of St Augustine's Abbey and St Martin's Church which form Canterbury's UNESCO World Heritage site.

Step inside this charming seaside property where you will find a kitchen/diner located on the ground floor. The kitchen is fully equipped for creating delicious family meals before sitting down to dine at the table with bench seating for up to seven people. A door from the kitchen/diner leads out to the courtyard garden. Also located on the ground floor is the first of the bedrooms: a single room with a day bed with an additional pull-out trundle, and a Smart TV. There is also a downstairs cloakroom with WC. Stairs from the hallway lead up to the first floor where you will find the comfortable lounge which has partial sea views, two sofas, and an armchair arranged around the Smart TV. Patio doors lead out to the balcony. Also on this floor is a double bedroom decorated in a charming Alice in Wonderland style and a family bathroom. A further set of stairs leads up to the second floor where there is a second double bedroom, a twin bedroom with sea views, and a shower room.

Heading outside you will find a courtyard garden with patio seating and charcoal BBQ, and the first-floor balcony offers a bistro table and chairs.
