About this property
Character cottage close to Port Isaac harbour – sleeps 4
Waves End is a traditional terraced cottage set in the old part of Port Isaac, just a short wander from the harbour and village centre. With two bedrooms and one shower room, it suits a couple or a family wanting to stay in the village itself rather than on the outskirts.
The ground floor is arranged as one open-plan space with kitchen, dining table and sitting area together. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and washer/dryer, as well as the usual pots, pans and crockery. In the sitting area you’ll find a comfortable sofa and chairs, television with streaming via Now TV, DVD player and Wi-Fi.
The shower room (walk-in shower, basin and WC) is also on this level. Upstairs, there is a double bedroom and a bunk room, sleeping four in total. A travel cot and highchair can be made available for younger guests if needed.
Please note that, like many properties in the old village, dedicated parking isn’t possible at the door. Guests usually use one of the public car parks (around 10–15 minutes on foot depending on the one chosen) and then enjoy exploring everywhere on foot.
From Waves End you can walk to the harbour, small beach at low tide, coastal path, pubs, cafés and restaurants without needing the car. Polzeath, Daymer Bay, Rock and Padstow are all within an easy drive for surfing, boat trips and days out along the Camel Estuary.
