Chestnut Barn consists of a kitchen with an oven, hob, fridge, kettle and toaster, a dining room, and a sitting area with a TV. The bedrooms include a ground-floor double, a double, and a family room with a double and single bed, serviced by a bathroom and a ground-floor shower room. Outside, there is off-road parking for guests’ convenience. WiFi, fuel, power, initial supply of wood,bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Additional logs and kindling can be purchased at a price of £5 for a full re-fill. Two well behaved pets welcome at a supplement of £25 per pet. Sorry no smoking. Shop 2.2 miles, pub 0.1 mile. Chestnut Barn is a lovely base for exploring North Yorkshire. Note: there is a Good Housekeeping Bond of 350 GBP

Chestnut Barn has been converted with ease of access in mind for all guests.Access from the parking area into the barn is on one level. There is a spacious, king-size bedroom on the ground floor with access to a generous Jack and Jill-style wet room.The wet room has handy grab rails either side of the toilet and one in the shower and the shower screen folds fully back to the wall.All doorways on the ground floor are wide.
