Escape to our charming 3-bedroom, 2-bath cottage on beautiful all-sports Big Bass Lake in Irons, Michigan! This comfortable lakefront getaway is the perfect place to relax, reconnect, and enjoy everything the great outdoors has to offer.

The cottage features an open-concept kitchen, dining room, and living room, all designed to take advantage of the beautiful lake views. The living room includes a flat-screen TV with cable and central air conditioning for your comfort.

Two sliding glass doors open onto a large, spacious deck overlooking the lake — the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee, gather with family and friends, or take in a beautiful sunset.

Our beach house offers access to a semi-private sandy beach, shared with just four other homes. Guests can enjoy a swim platform with a slide, a wooden dock, and a children’s playset.

The dock includes 2 kayaks for guests to enjoy. Some life jackets are also available, although guests are welcome to bring their own properly fitted life jackets.

Big Bass Lake is an all-sports lake, making it perfect for boating, fishing, swimming, kayaking, and enjoying time on the water. If you are bringing your own motorized watercraft, public boat access is conveniently located just down the road, and you may tie up your boat at the dock in front of the cottage.

Whether you're looking for a relaxing weekend getaway, a fun-filled family vacation, or a place to enjoy everything lake life has to offer, our cottage is a wonderful place to make lasting memories.

Turn off the lights and lock the doors
If you have moved any furniture please put it back Wash/dry and put away all dishes you used Wipe down kitchen counters, stove, and dining room table Leave all used beds unmade
Remove trash bag from can in house and place in outside bin All trash must be in tied trash bags (they pick it up by hand) If you are here on Sunday please take trash bin out to curb
Check that you have all your belongings ie phone chargers I know accidents happen please notify me if anything is damaged
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Items in garage are there for your use, I ask that you please put them back when you’re done and do not put away anything that’s wet.
Please make sure all your dishes are washed and put away and counters and tables wiped off.

Victoria is amazing and promptly responded to all our questions. Very clean. Beautiful and quiet area, friendly and helpful neighbors. Central air conditioning is definitely a bonus. Victoria has gone out of her way to provide everything you need for a great stay summer or winter and is also a talented decorator! Highly recommend!! We had a wonderful vacation week there!

Well worth the money!!! Gorgeous and mostly updated home. The parts that aren’t is what makes it charming. Easily the best stocked home I ever rented. Everything I could think of was there as far as baking/cooking/plates, etc. The lake is clean and the beach is clean. It is a shared beach, however we never had anyone else there. We kayaked, swam, fished, watch sunsets and had a lazy lake week. We really enjoyed the beach toys from the garage. We traveled with our 11 and 8 year olds. They loved everything about this house. There is a corner store 5 minutes away for any little needs.Neighbors are very friendly and do not bother anyone other than to say hi. Very fast responses from the host. Clear and very easy instructions to clean and how to leave the home.

This was the perfect getaway for my three high school friends and I!! The house was very clean. The beds are comfortable. Everything that you need you have. The kitchen is stocked with everything that you should need. The lake is really nice, and the front porch facing the lake was set up perfect. Didn't get the opportunity to use the kayaks but we knew that they were available. We brought our own floats, but they do have some available. The neighbors were all nice and welcoming. Definitely would go back! Victoria was right on top of communicating with me and made everything go smoothly!

The location of this VRBO was excellent. The private beach area was charming, and having access to the kayaks was a wonderful bonus. It’s also conveniently located—just a 35-minute drive to Ludington, which made for a great day trip. Overall, a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway!

Great place for a long visit

We stayed here for a couple of weeks in early summer and really enjoyed our visit. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Wouldn't think twice about booking it again for another long stay.

We spent three nights at this wonderful family getaway. It accommodated five adults and two kids comfortably. It was just what we needed. My grandson had his “best vacation ever” he’s nine. We had everything we needed. The house was as described with plenty of things to keep us busy.

Lovely lake cottage

We loved the peaceful and cozy cottage! Had a blast using the boats and swimming with our girls. Cottage is nicely furnished and has a lot of amenities. Beds were all comfortable, as well! Hope to come back again
