FACCIA GIALLA is the panoramic apartment in the historic center of Naples

Yellow Face is a double apartment with an exclusive rooftop terrace overlooking Mount Vesuvius and the city skyline. Perfect for stargazing. Artistic/cultural tours, gastronomic experiences, and nightlife are available at any time of the year. The house has two independent entrances with separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Access to the terrace is shared between the two apartments. Normally, we prefer not to rent to different family groups. Ideally, it is for families of 4 to 6 people. For two people, we only rent one of the two mini apartments.

Naples is a welcoming city that behaves like a small town with respect to how nice the people are. Most large cities are not like this. Walter was thoughtful and kind and professional. The location is central to everything we wanted to see. We walked to the Archeological Museum (one of the top 2 museums of this kind in the world), Capodimonte museum and grounds, The National Gallery of Art, the San Gennaro Catacombs, and church, the Conservatory (saw a lovely show). Lots of shopping and the most fantastic food in the world is just steps from the home. We also took the metro to Pozzuoli, and getting to Pompeii is equally doable taking the metro to the Circumvesuviana. Walter was respectful of our privacy but also very attentive. The views from the terrace are breathtaking.

Air conditioning was a savior, however, with there only being air in the bedrooms, our couch sleepers had to suffer with warmer temperatures. Showers and bathrooms were very nice. It is required to pay 5 cents when you want to use the elevator to the 9th floor (which is every time) - and that was not pleasant. The host did have a few coins for us to use - but at arrival with bags, it was NOT FUN to have to get up to the apt. We also had to go around town trying to get 5 cent pieces from stores. The location seemed walkable to a lot of restaurants. We appreciated air conditioning but I don’t think we’d stay here again.

Grazie mille per aver condiviso la vostra esperienza con noi! Siamo felici che l’aria condizionata e i bagni abbiano reso il vostro soggiorno più confortevole. Ci dispiace sinceramente per i disagi legati all’ascensore — capite bene che il sistema a gettoni da 5 centesimi non dipende da noi ma dal condominio, e ci rendiamo conto che, soprattutto all’arrivo con i bagagli, possa essere davvero frustrante. La portineria offre però la possibilità di cambio monete nei giorni lavorativi. Cercheremo di essere ancora più chiari nelle informazioni pre-arrivo e di assicurarci che ci siano sempre monete disponibili in quantità sufficiente. Per quanto riguarda il raffrescamento nelle aree comuni, prenderemo in considerazione soluzioni per migliorare il comfort di tutti gli ospiti, anche di chi dorme in soggiorno. Speriamo di potervi accogliere di nuovo in futuro e offrirvi un’esperienza ancora migliore. Buoni viaggi! 🙏
