This apartment was nicely set up for our group of three adults. The apartment was very quiet at night and the garden out back was a very nice space. We were without a vehicle so walking to attractions was a bit of a hike (typically 20-30 minutes) but was manageable or could be substituted with low cost, convenient Uber service instead.As for host communication, once we determined that out messages weren't being relayed through VRBO, the host was very responsive and helpful through WhatsApp.

The apartment was a little sanctuary within the big city! We loved waking up to the quiet garden every morning and we were so grateful to come home to AC after hot days around Lisbon. The beds were comfortable and the home had everything we needed. The building and neighborhood were very quiet too. The bus stop is right down the street to bring you to the city center. We loved our stay!

The stay was generally very good, with a great location and easy access to public transit and the Tube/Metro. The AC was a godsend, especially during the abnormal hot summer. There were a few minor issues but not a deal breaker, however. There weren’t enough towels provided, and the washing machine is located outside. I only discovered it because I explored the property. There was also no safe available for storing valuables. We had some issues with the TV during the first two days as well. Other than these minor inconveniences, it was a great place to stay, and I would consider staying here again.
