About this property

Dreamy stone seaside cottage within walking distance of beach. 3 Beds, Sleeps 6

Just oozing character and charm, this beautiful stone cottage sits on a quiet, no through lane, just a short distance from Llanbedrog beach with its iconic colourful beach huts and National Trust car park. Our much loved cottage is a home from home with comfortable furnishing and thoughtful touches. The terraced rear garden is a real sun trap with loungers and a family sized dining table for relaxing evenings. There is parking for one large or two small cars. There have been consistent 5 star ratings from guests over the last 2 years, with many repeat bookings, but we have only recently swapped to additional booking platforms.
Only 3 miles from the restaurants and cafes of Abersoch and a similar distance to Pwllheli, the cottage is perfectly positioned to explore the whole of the gorgeous Llyn Peninsular. Whispering Sands and Hell's Mouth are just a short drive away whilst further afield are castles, mountains and spectacular scenery.

I fell in love with the Llyn Peninsular many years ago. With a Scandinavian heritage, the spectacular scenery felt like home. Whether you want mountains, seaside or just magic, this area has it all

Why they chose this property

With more than a dozen glorious beaches to visit within easy reach, there is something for everyone whether you want family friendly or wild and windswept. Go paddle boarding, rock pooling or relax in a sauna whilst you leave the waves to others.
The mountains of Snowdonia are the backdrop to the Llyn Peninsular and are near enough to explore. There are also castles, countryside and unique experiences such as the magical Portmeirion Village, Welsh Highland Steam Railway and the longest zipline in the UK.

What makes this property unique

From the moment you arrive at the cottage, it feels like home. All the Victorian features have been retained, from the beautiful tiled hall floor to the stone fireplace and original doors. Thoughtfully decorated, this is not a generic cream rental with flatpack furniture. It has character, a log burner, and much more besides.
Crucially, the outdoor space is a sun trap for most of the day so if you want to lounge at home, you can. There is a small lower patio with a table for your morning coffee, steps up to the middle terrace with a large outdoor dining table for lazy lunches or sociable suppers and a further top terrace with sun loungers.
