A Georgian house set right in the centre of Bridport, within a 2-minute walk of the High Street and all the restaurants, pubs, and independent shops, as well as the renowned twice-weekly market. West Bay is a 2km walk with its famous cliffs and historically important seaport.
Weymouth, Lyme Regis are a short drive away as well as other world heritage sites.
As a fully trained chef, I can offer meals during your stay. This is an extra charge and must be pre-arranged.
Two Georgian houses made into one, you have the oldest side of the house, my family lives in the other, with your own parking space for one car in our gated courtyard, and your own entrance into the property.
We have a border collie dog that loves to be outside. Please let us know in advance if this may present problems during your stay.
There is parking for one car next to your entrance, which features an outside 13amp socket, making it perfect for hybrid cars. However, there are 8 full charging bays in two car parks, both located less than 100 meters away.
Although we live next door, the Airbnb is fully separated from us. Unless you wish to speak to us, you have the rental section all to yourselves. There is a key safe next to the entrance of the Airbnb.
As previously mentioned, I am a fully trained chef and can provide food during your stay, from a home-cooked meal upon arrival to a 7-course celebration meal, but this must be agreed upon before your visit.
We are right in the centre of town with one way in and out as the Asker River borders the area, some cars do go past, but most traffic is pedestrian. Both East St and South St are a 1-minute walk away, so grabbing an early bargain at the Wednesday and Saturday market couldn’t be easier. The famous Electric Palace theatre is also just a short walk away.
