The Space:

The Farmhouse 2 consists of an open-plan living space with an electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric hob, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster, hair dryer, a dining area, and a sitting room with a flatscreen TV. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with en-suite bath, walk-in shower, basin, and WC, a double with TV, and a twin. There are two additional bathrooms with walk-in shower, basin, and WC. A vacuum cleaner is available and a cot and highchair are available on request. Iron and ironing board available on request. On-site, you'll find EV chargers available on the site car park for an additional fee, an indoor swimming pool, sauna, outdoor playground, mini-golf, bar and restaurant, cinema room, fitness room, outdoor giant chessboard, PlayStation room, children's disco (in most school holidays), pool table, aqua fun, archery, campfire, tipi building, magician, craft club, bingo, live entertainment, frisbee golf, putting green. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is a decking area with outdoor furniture and a hot tub, plus parking in an on-site car park. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. All of this awaits at The Farmhouse 2. Note: Accessible by stairs. Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping Bond. Note: Cot mattress and linen are not supplied so please remember to bring these with you if needed. The dimensions of the travel cot are 23 inches x 34 inches (58.4cm x 86.3cm). The swimming pool will be closed for refurbishment from 2nd March up to and including arrivals on 4th April, and will not be available during this time



The Neighborhood:

The bustling market town of Penrith, once the capital of Cumbria, enjoys a central position between the Lake District, the Westmoorland Dales and North Pennines and is ideally placed for taking in all that the region has to offer. Renowned for its wealth of specialist shops, the sandstone buildings of Penrith hide intriguing yards, lanes and alleyways, with a myriad of attractive cottages, gardens and little shops. With a wide choice of excellent pubs, hotels, restaurants and entertainment, Penrith also offers a museum, and Millennium Trails round the historic city streets. Within easy reach of the town is Rheged – an innovative visitor centre with shops, restaurants, exhibitions and a giant cinema screen showing educational and informative films. Brougham Castle, Brougham Hall (The Windsor of the North), Lowther Castle and Gardens, Long Meg and her daughters (the 3rd largest stone circle in England) and the historic city of Carlisle are all a short drive away, as is the stunning scenery of both the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.
