We stayed in Clavering Hall as a group of 14 friends looking for a peaceful weekend cooking, hanging out and taking time away from normal life. We had a wonderful weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed how spacious the house was - the bedrooms are amazing (no bad ones!) and we particularly loved the orange living room which is huge and cosy.
The whole house is well-stocked for 14 people (which is often not the case) and we adored being able to use the garden in the sunshine. The only negatives would be unclear instructions for check in - we accidentally went through the neighbours front garden which they were unhappy about, and the key box code wasn’t given to us at arrival. For the price, I doubt you could find a better place to stay with a big group! We’re considering coming back next year :)
