About this property

Charming Victorian retreat full of unique features

Haworth Road House is a charming five-bedroom Victorian retreat with period features, modern comforts, a sauna and gardens, perfectly located for exploring Haworth, the moors, and West Yorkshire’s scenic highlights.

Haworth Roadhouse is a welcoming Victorian retreat set in the friendly village of Cullingworth, just moments from the famous landscapes and literary heritage of Haworth. Full of period charm and countryside character, this spacious five-bedroom home is ideal for families and friends seeking a relaxing escape in rural West Yorkshire.

Step through the porch and into the elegant hallway where a grand staircase sets the tone for the rest of the house. The generous lounge feels warm and inviting with its gas stove, bay window and the added treat of a projector and pull-down screen for cosy film nights. The dining room offers plenty of space for shared meals while the kitchen is the heart of the home, beautifully designed with a central island, glass roof, bi-fold doors and a snug area with a wood burning stove. A separate utility and ground floor toilet add convenience for longer stays. Upstairs, the bedrooms are charming and comfortable, some with lovely countryside views, feature fireplaces and exposed beams. The family bathroom includes a roll top bath, shower and twin sinks. Two additional bedrooms sit within the attic, offering flexibility for larger groups. Please note that one attic bedroom is accessed through the other.

Outside, guests can unwind on the patio or lawned garden overlooking the pond, enjoy meals in the front seating area or relax in the wooden barrel electric sauna. With ample private parking, the property is both peaceful and practical for all types of breaks.

Cullingworth offers an authentic village feel with a local pub just a short stroll away for food and drinks. A little further brings you to Haworth, home of the Brontë sisters, where cobbled streets, traditional shops and the Brontë Parsonage Museum create an unforgettable sense of history. Walkers will love the many trails across the moors as well as the scenic routes to Goit Stock Waterfall and Hewenden Viaduct, both picture-perfect spots for nature lovers.
