Spacious self contained historical apartment in a central and level location
You will enjoy a comfortable stay in Lower Deck, a large self contained basement apartment within a Grade 11 listed property.
The apartment is a 10 minute level walk from Falmouth town centre with its independent shops and a great choice of restaurants, pubs and bars. The beaches are a ten minute walk in the other direction. The Maritime museum and Pendennis Castle are worth a visit.
Also on the route of the South West Coast path and 5 minutes from the train station to Truro.
If you like history you will be interested in the well that you are welcome to view. The Cornish range is one of a few that remain (a feature, so not in use) Also the period bathroom with walk in shower.
I want to draw your attention to a few points so that you are aware of these prior to booking: There are steps down to the property, so it may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. As it is a basement apartment there is limited light in the lobby area, and you may hear noise from upstairs as I live above with my family and two dogs. In 6 years of hosting this has not been an issue though.
