About this property

East Bank

Located in the conservation village of Winster, Derbyshire, East Bank Cottage is a traditional miner's cottage within the Peak District National Park. Close to local amenities, it is a pet-friendly option suitable for couples or a family of four.



The cottage has a dining room with seating for four, leading through to a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed for a self-catered stay. There is also a sitting room with comfortable seating and a TV.



Upstairs, there is a large bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, along with two bedrooms: one double and one twin. Both bedrooms overlook the village.



Outside, guests can enjoy a private garden, ideal for a morning coffee or relaxing after a day out. Please note there is no roadside parking or off road parking at the property. You can park temporary to unload and then park at the local village car park at the top of the hill 5 mins drive.



Winster offers a convenience store, local pubs including The Old Bowling Green and the Miner's Standard, and access to walking routes such as the Winster to Bonsall Path. Nearby Bakewell offers attractions including the Bakewell Old House Museum, golf club, and a range of places to eat. Other nearby places of interest include Haddon Hall, Chatsworth House, Matlock, and Matlock Bath, with attractions such as the Heights of Abraham, Gulliver's Kingdom, and the Peak District Mining Museum.
