About Vacasa of Georgia
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers. Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team. Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Humble quite get away
Loved loved loved this location and home!
Pros: location, roomy, good beds and lots of towels
Cons: needs deep cleaning inside and out, pest control especially around front door, clearer instructions on trash disposal
We are sorry to see you had problems with bugs during your stay. Being in the woods and close to the river does attract the bugs, especially if outdoor lights are left on. The cabin is thoroughly cleaned regularly, and there is a note on the trash can advising guests to leave the trash for housekeeping to take care of. Thank you!
Great trout stream view
We loved the house and close it was to all of the trout streams. The only thing that turned us off to the house was the fact that we were responsible for making sure all trash was disposed of off property at the end of our stay.
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Clint! We're glad you enjoyed the location of this home in proximity to the trout streams. Guests are not required to dispose of trash; our housekeeping team will pick up trash after your departure. We only asks that guests do not leave trash outside due to the possibility of wildlife in the area. We look forward to hosting you again!
Tranquil weekend getaway
We really enjoyed our stay! The creek behind the cabin was soooo wonderful, it literally sounded like a river flowing at the back door. If the temperature was warmer I could’ve sat out on the enclosed patio for hours enjoying the tranquility. The house was properly stocked with all of the major household necessities. I would recommend adding coffee to ensure that the guest had that before they began their journey through the windy roads to their destinations. It literally 25-30 mins(minimum) to anywhere you want to go so guest should plan for that and probably stop for food and groceries BEFORE settling into the cabin. Lastly, be prepared for the one mile, one lane road up to the house. We walked it several times admiring the nature especially the creek which sounded like a waterfall when it was splashing over the dam. Great experience!
Great mountain get away
My family of six and a newborn really enjoyed this cozy mountain spot. The beds qere super comfy. There was plenty of room for everyone. The creek was awesome and couldn't have been better. Everyone enjoyed the screened in porch. The cabin is close enough to Helen and other attractions. We will definitely return.
This place is just as advertised, clean, comfortable and a stream in the back. We had a very relaxing time, loved using the fireplace. Thanks for letting us stay at your place.
