The Neighborhood:

This home near Tintagel places you in one of Cornwall’s most dramatic and magical coastal locations, surrounded by rugged cliffs, sandy beaches, and legendary history. From your doorstep, the South West Coast Path offers unforgettable walks in both directions.

Head north to Tintagel Castle, often linked with the legends of King Arthur, just 20 minutes walk away, where ancient ruins, dramatic sea views, and centuries of myth await. Continue further along the cliffs to Boscastle (around 3 hours walk or 10 minutes drive), a picturesque harbour village full of character. On the way, stop at Boscastle Farm Shop for delicious local food and stunning countryside views.

After a day by the sea, The Port William is a must for great food, sunset drinks, and breathtaking coastal views. Continue south along the coast to Port Isaac (around 15 minutes drive), famous as the filming location for Doc Martin, with charming narrow streets, harbour views, and the chance to dine at Nathan Outlaw’s acclaimed seafood restaurant.

Families will love Camel Creek Adventure Park near Wadebridge, while St Eval Kart Circuit offers fun racing experiences for all ages. For more exploring, cycle the scenic Camel Trail from Wadebridge to Padstow, a safe and family-friendly route.

In Padstow, visit the National Lobster Hatchery and enjoy seafood at one of Rick Stein’s restaurants. Or head north to Bude Sea Pool for a unique coastal swim.

With beaches, walks, history, surfing and family attractions all nearby, Tintagel is a fantastic base for a memorable Cornish holiday.
