Unit 114- 1 Bedroom 1 Bathroom Condominium with Partial North Gulf views. | This 1 bedroom 1 bathroom condominium is located on the 11th floor of our Tower Building. The view of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and our white sandy beach can be seen from this unit which is perfect for watching evening sunsets! To comply with the Sarasota County Fire Code, our one bedroom units sleep a maximum of 2 people. The bedroom is furnished with a king size bed with a 32" flat screen TV. The living room has a 43" flat screen TV and there is a new sofa. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and all the items you need for cooking - pots/pans, dishes, utensils, toaster and a Keurig coffee machine and a standard 12 cup coffee maker. The condo has a tile floor with carpeting in the bedroom. It is furnished and has an enclosed patio with sliding windows, allowing you to enjoy the warm tropical breezes from the Gulf of Mexico, which will make your stay a memorable one. The pool on the beach shown in the photo is not part of our property.

Gulf view condo

Very nice unit with view of the gulf. Had everything we needed to cook. Everyone in the complex was very friendly . We walked to the village which is about 2 miles away but there are free ride services for just a driver tip available. Overall excellent experience

Great views- very dated property

Overall we enjoyed our time - siesta key is one of our favorite spots. The property offered adequate amenities and is located directly on the beach. The unit was small, very dated, couch was terrible. Since we didn’t spend too much time in the room- it didn’t ruin the trip!

The bed and all the furniture were very comfortable. The hair dryer wasn't working when we got there and maintenance replaced it within minutes. The entire Palm Bay staff was amazing. Love the fact that they supply full length beach chairs and even have a guy that will deliver them to you on your spot on the beach. We just tapped them everyday. I would definitely stay here again. I would not suggest renting through vrbo as they added an additional $233.00 fees!

Not Up to Usual Palm Bay Standards

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at the Palm Bay Club quite a few times. Until this stay we always thought it was perfect. We dreamed of our next trip as soon as we came home! This time, although the view, the beach, the cleanliness, and the professional staff were all excellent, as always, the condo and the building where we stayed were definitely not up to the usual standards, as follows: *Broken armchair in the LR. Maintenance took it away. * Rusted AC vents, not possible to move them to avoid AC blowing directly on couch area, and since one of the chairs was gone, couldn't have the AC on in a comfortable way. *Bathroom needs updating, peeling paint, old tub, put a towel in the drawer because I didn't want my cosmetics directly on its surface. * New towels were nice, but were unwashed, had sizing in them, and smelled bad. *Dirty upholstery on the bedroom chair. * Cracked microwave door-perhaps escaping radiation? * Broken dryer-no heat * Only 1 of the two elevators working. Long waits with sometimes 20, or more, people piled up in the hallway. Of course, we were disappointed, as this was not the comfortable get-away we expected.

Love Siesta key. Recommended suggestion

The unit needs some updates. The main problem was the passing from the beach to the building. We enjoy the place every year for July the 4th. It is the raining season and water deposits are expected. The entrance got a big and not heathy rain pond. Just passing is a hazard as well as a liability. I will recommend you to issue the problem with the building and owners association. I love the place. Thanks

Nice Property

The property was clean and comfortable and right on the beach. Description is accurate and no issues. A little dated but certainly nothing that affects the functionality. My only negative would be that for this price range, beach umbrellas should be included in price instead of being available for rent at 25 a day. Also, Having been staying in SK for 20 years, I was surprised the beach chairs weren't all set up in the morning, instead of as people came in. But again, not a big deal.

Perfect location

This was a very nice condo with a lovely view up the beach. The bed was very comfortable and the location was quiet. We had everything we needed for our 4 day stay. Office staff were pleasant and helpful. Fast, efficient check in and check out. Good parking available. The free trolley stop was on Midnight Pass Rd and convenient to the Village, Aldi and Sarasota. We hope to be back!

This is a north facing unit which is less than ideal, because the bedroom area was always very dark.My biggest negative about the unit was that it needed updating. The bedroom comforter, sheets, and pillows need to be REPLACED. Gross. The shower head is also something from the 90’s. It can’t be that expensive to replace a shower head. Other than that, it was a good visit.

Midwinter break

The location of the property was perfect, and the private beach with lounge chairs was a bonus. We could walk to Siesta Key Village from the condo or take the free trolley ride to town for dining and shopping. The condo had an amazing view, and we enjoyed the two pools and hot tub on the canal side. The condo had everything we needed, and it was clean. The decor and furnishings are getting a little outdated. The king size mattress seems to be broken and sagging on one side, even though the owners said it is newer. Overall it was a great stay.

Palm Bay Club Is Awesome...our rental unit not so much.
