******Fully New Renovated Condo.****** This first floor 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condominium is located on the Gulf side of our property. Because of its central location on our property, it is a short walk to our white sandy beach, the tennis courts, pool and charcoal barbeques. To comply with the Sarasota County Fire Code, our two bedroom units sleep a maximum of six people. The master bedroom is furnished with two queen size beds with a 32" flat screen TV and there is a king size bed in the guest bedroom with a 21" flat screen TV. The master bathroom has a beautiful walk-in shower and the guest bathroom has a convenient tub/shower combination. The living room is equipped with a 43" flat screen TV for your enjoyment. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the items you need for cooking - pots/pans, dishes, utensils, toaster and a coffee maker. The condo is completely tiled. There is also a comfortably furnished outdoor patio which is screened-in so that you may enjoy our warm tropical breezes with your friends and family.

Check in was easy and the front desk girls were great! Our unit was perfect for our group. So much to do in the area and the shuttles between the condo and Siesta Keys were the way to go. The unit was clean, beach was close and the pool was relaxing. Great vacation!!

We had a great week of sunshine and relaxing. Beautiful resort. Only issue was the master bedroom was on the street side and the road is brightly lit up all night long. The blind in that room doesn’t fit the window completely, so we asked for a sheet to hang over it. It helped but still light in there. Closet doors in master would not stay on track and a very tight squeeze to get around bed on closet side.

We appreciated the presence of security who were always friendly and helpful. Our unit was nicely decorated and clean. There are a few things I would suggest to update. The mattress on the bigger bed is worn out. All 3 rugs in the unit are dirty and worn as well. Overall, it was nice and comfortable. We look forward to staying at The Palm Bay Club again.

This time we opted for a ground floor Club Interior apartment after last year staying on the 7th floor of the Tower. It was a good trade off. No view but access to the apartment was super easy, particularly with luggage and groceries. Short walk to the beach and the lovely warm waters of the Gulf! Staff very friendly and helpful and facilities were great. Looking forward to returning again next year.

We have been coming to Siesta for many years and our first time staying at the property-my family really liked it. We did have a few issues with the unit, bugs that didn’t want to leave the kitchen, some outdated items in the kitchen and minimal extra dishes for use, especially no pot holders for use with the oven. A little dangerous. Maintenance came without hesitation, they were very helpful and did their best but the bug issue needs to be addressed.

The definition of old and outdated

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Don't let the photos fool you. The only positives that I can share about this unit are that it was clean and the living room furniture was relatively new. Otherwise, it was VERY dark, no overhead lighting, bathrooms were very old and toilets hardly flushed, kitchen had barely anything in it to use for cooking and/or eating. Beds, linens, towels really need to be replaced. Bedroom furniture outdated and creaky.

Great location, great place to stay!

Although we had some noisy neighbors past the 10 pm "quiet time" (they were yelling and stomping around well past midnight), the location of Palm Bay can't be beat. We were a short walk to the most amazing private beach where we had free access to nice beach chairs and could rent an umbrella for the day. We had a great time swimming in both pools and used the tennis courts and gym. All were well maintained and had plenty of space. It was a quick hop onto the free trolley (or one of the frog hop buses - only pay a tip) to go into Siesta Key village for shopping and food. We went up to Lido Key one day for a kayaking tour through the mangroves, which was awesome, but the beach there didn't even come close to the soft, white quartz sand of Siesta Key. The condo itself was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, pots and pans. You're responsible for getting things like salt/pepper, napkins/paper towels, etc., which isn't a big deal if you're expecting it. In the guest bathroom we did have some rust on the metal in the tub and it had a slow drain, but nothing that would take away from the experience. We'll definitely be coming back to Palm Bay! I think the only thing we might change next time is staying on an upper floor rather than the ground level to avoid some of the noise from people walking around above us.

Reviewer Comments: The unit is located well, but the interior needs major updating, we have visited other units that were in much better shape. The stove top burners tilted when heated, the kitchen sink faucet was loose and shaky. The walk-in shower had mold in the grout. In one of the bedrooms the dresser drawers stuck when you tried to open them. The lanai was dark and dismal and not very inviting. We were schedule for a cleaning on 2/4 the cleaners never showed up and when we called the office they said the cleaners were gone for the day and we would have to wait until 2/6 for a cleaning because Saturday was too busy. And when they came they did a so-so job, no vacuuming.

Love Palm Bay

Could not ask for a better experience. Beautiful property, spacious condo. Loved the quick access to the beach, and the heated pool is amazing! Plus maid service each week, and the towels are laundered as well! We have already booked for next year!
