Beautiful and Spacious Private Pool Home in "The Shire" Gated Community. Perfect for a family vacation, a business trip or a relaxing couples getaway. Close to Disney and Universal theme parks. Champions Gate is nearby and offers plenty of charming restaurants, shops and golfing. Relax by the heated pool or take a dip in the hot tub spa. Need to get some work done? No worries - this home provides free wifi as well as an office nook equipped with a printer and scanner for your convenience. The Shire now has new Flat Screen TVs in most rooms, and a separate living and family room - perfect for a multi family vacation. We have also added a BBQ Grill for your convenience. Everything you could want under one roof.

Nearby Clubhouse features a gym, ping pong table, tennis courts, sand volleyball, media area and a large community pool.

(Pool heat is an additional $20 per day to offset energy bill costs. Please let us know at the time of booking if you are requesting pool heat. Pool heat is for the entire length of stay. At least 48 hours notice required to warm pool prior to arrival.)

Good Family Time.

Enjoyed our stay! It was a great home with amble rooms, and accommodations were extremely welcoming. Truly enjoyed our family time. Would only recommend an update on the BBQ grill.

Adult Family Vacation

Everything was excellent. All the information for the house was sent several days in advance. Giving me time to make sure we had everything we needed. Monica checked in to make sure everything was ok. She answered any questions and sent all the check-out information again before we left. We paid for the heat and the pool and hot tub was great! Everything was clean and the kitchen well stocked for cooking anything.

Family Vacation

Thank you for a lovely stay. Villa was as described. Monica was super efficient in responding to any queries, which were resolved quickly. Some areas could do with a little update and further cleaning. Despite this, we had a great few weeks in a lovely quiet and safe residential area. Thanks again Monica!

Very pleased with "The Shire" Home

"The Shire" was a wonderful home away from home for our 10 day Florida family vacation during March 2024. The home was spacious, comfortable and had all the amenities that we needed. The house is located in a beautiful, quiet gated community. Communication with our host Monica was excellent and she was very responsive. We would definitely stay again.

This property was an ideal location for our get away. It was close enough to everything that we wanted to see and do yet quiet and secluded. Amazing property!

I honestly wish I could give this property more than 5 stars! The pictures of this house do not even do it justice. It is absolutely beautiful and very spacious. The owner, Monica, was a pleasure to work with and answered any questions that we had quickly and kindly. Do not hesitate to book this property as you will not regret it!

Beautifully decorated home - very roomy. Great location - short drive to Orlando attractions. Close enough for day trips to Tampa / St Pete / Clearwater beaches - which we did. The house layout allows for bedrooms with personal space and large kitchen and dining room was great for family dinners. Monica, the owner, was very helpful and responded quickly to the few questions we had. We would stay again and highly recommend this home for families / couples visiting the Orlando area.

Perfect relaxing stay for the holidays

Our family was looking for someplace convenient to things to see and do in Orlando, but we wanted a quiet neighborhood to get away from the noise when we wanted to. This place was perfect! The gated neighborhood meant we didn't see hardly any cars coming by the house, and we had a great time relaxing in the heated pool and hot tub while looking over the natural area in the backyard. The house had lots of space for our family & we loved the open floorplan for casual dining and watching TV etc. The workspace was a nice touch and wifi was super fast, very much appreciated as we needed to do some work while away from home. Home was very clean and our host was super responsive with any questions. Overall awesome stay!

Nice Property

We've had a great time at West Haven. The house is nicely located in Champions Gate, Davenport. It was nicely equipped with all of our needs. Each of the bedrooms had a TV. The beds were very comfortable which produced quality sleep. The host was available for any questions, and responded quickly. We've experienced an issue with the hot tub, however the host quickly rectified the issue. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your house.

A beautiful villa

Monica's spacious and beautiful villa is situated in the Shire at West Haven, and is handily placed for drives up the I-4 to Disney, Universal, and also the Premium Outlets and malls. It has two Publix supermarkets within 10 minutes, and is also close to Posner Park, for fans on Bath & Body Works. The Shire itself is a well maintained gated community that provides tranquility away from the theme parks, and there is ample opportunity at the villa for some sun drenched lounging at pool side. Highly recommended.

Awesome!

I loved my stay here with my family. The house is very spacious; lots of room to spread out when you have different age range of children. Everyone had their own space to relax and when it was time to come together the common areas were just what we needed including the pool and spa. We were very close to all the theme parks and any type of store we may have needed. Also was close to restaurants. We had a fun time cooking and eating together as the kitchen was fully equipped. The neighborhood is very quiet also. I would recommend the Shire to anyone that ask about my vacation.

Just as Advertised with great Customer Service

Property was lovely, and Monica was very helpful and responded in a timely manner to my questions. My family enjoyed themselves. I would definitely will rent this home again or anyone of Monica properties. Only comment I would add is that the other bedrooms outside of the master bedroom the mattresses were on the hard side. But like I said I would still rent this house again.

So clean!

This location was just as described and was perfect. While the traffic is crazy out of control, this location allows you access to the local attractions with ease. You have the ability to access the East side or West side of Florida. This home awesome to come back to relax in the hot tub/pool. This was our first experience with a starter kit of limited toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, laundry soap and garbage bags. The welcome emails were very detailed in where we could purchase additional supplies. We would rent again!

While new to HomeAway, Monica is a former Disney cast member - so hospitality is in her blood. She has also been a landlord for almost 10 years. She loves Harry Potter, Star Wars, Game of Thrones, Batman, swimming, roller coasters and good ole fashioned game nights! She hopes you will enjoy staying at the Shire as much as she does.

We loved how spacious, relaxing and convenient this property was. The pool is very private and has a gorgeous view of a wooded conservation area. Complex tennis and volleyball courts are just down the block and the gated community provides a quiet escape with close proximity to the local theme parks - about 20 minutes to Disney.
