Set in an idyllic spot above New Polzeath’s crashing waves, this bright and breezy apartment is a wonderful location for a family holiday, with its sunny outdoor spaces. There is free parking along the seafront right opposite the apartment which empties out in the evenings, then you’re just moments from the brown-sugar sands of Polzeath Beach (350 metres) and the calmer sweep of Baby Bay (0.5 miles), setting you up perfectly for sandy days, sea swims and sunset strolls. Surfers and wild swimmers are spoilt, with Polzeath’s brilliant surf schools right on the beach, while the South West Coast Path passes just 150 metres from the door for wow-factor walks to local beauty spots like Pentire Point (1 mile) and The Rumps (1.5 miles). The on-site restaurant is a blessing when you don’t fancy cooking, and it’s an easy wander along the beach for more seafood spots as the sky turns pink.


Access is via a shared lift, then four steps down to the entrance, or up two flights of steps through the restaurant entrance. The property is spread over two sun-filled floors. It’s dressed in fresh coastal hues. The open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area is made for slow breakfasts and relaxed evenings, with balcony doors you can open to let in sea air – and admire those soul-soothing views. Two bedrooms sit on this level: one king-size room with a wardrobe and a chest of drawers, and a twin zip-and-link room that can be converted into a super-king-size on request. The family bathroom is also here. Head upstairs to a second king-size bedroom with a Smart TV and an en-suite shower room, along with direct access to the sky deck. This is furnished with two deckchairs for chilled-out sessions with a book and a cuppa. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for meal prep, including a filter coffee machine for your morning brew. You’ll also have two Juliet balconies with bistro seating, creating yet more spots for relaxed, fresh-air moments.


This property has a handy surf store with board storage, showers and a wetsuit drying room. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis at the front of the property (or weekly passes are available at New Polzeath Long Stay, 150 metres away).
