Grizedale Forest is three miles away and offers a choice of walking and cycle routes, as well as children’s play area, sculpture trail, Segway hire, and a high-ropes climbing centre with thrilling zip wire.
At the heart of this beautiful family holiday home is the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which offers the perfect space to relax and enjoy spending time together. The lounge area lies to one end of the room, where comfortable seating is arranged around the large fireplace with wood burner. There is also a TV/DVD, and hi-fi in this area, whilst a second seating area, to the side of the fire, offers a lovely place to enjoy the views across the valley from the large windows. At the far end of the room, separated from the lounge area by the central chimney breast, is the well-equipped kitchen area which boasts, an oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. The large dining table which sits between the lounge and kitchen areas, seats eight. Three of the property’s bedrooms are also located on this floor, the first of which is a king-size room which benefits from an en-suite shower room with WC. There is also a double room on this floor, and a bunk bedroom. The main bathroom on this floor offers both a bath and a separate shower cubicle, as well as WC. The fourth bedroom is located on the lower-ground floor, a double room with en-suite shower and WC. The utility room is also on this floor, which is where guests will find the washing machine and tumble dryer.
Outside, there is a large enclosed patio with plentiful seating and a table, offering guests the chance to relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.
