About this property

Superb Hastings Old Town Duplex with parking and sea views

Escape to Hastings most beautiful, flower-filled Regency street, where this elegant and spacious two-bedroom maisonette combines period character with contemporary comfort, private parking and glorious outdoor spaces.

Wake to sea views from the balcony, enjoy breakfast on the sunny terrace, then stroll past colourful houses and flower-filled gardens, over West Hill and down into the winding streets of the historic Old Town.

Occupying the upper two floors of a pretty Regency house in the Artists' Quarter, the apartment is light-filled, generously proportioned and thoughtfully furnished throughout. Rare private parking makes arriving and exploring refreshingly easy.

There are two spacious bedrooms – one with a luxurious Super King bed and the other with a large double – making the apartment equally suited to couples, friends or families. The welcoming sitting room opens onto a balcony with sea views, while the fully equipped kitchen includes a dining table and French doors leading directly onto the private terrace, creating an easy flow between indoor and outdoor living. A separate utility room provides a washing machine and additional storage.

The interiors reflect our love of beautiful design. Curated French furniture sits comfortably alongside carefully chosen British antiques, while original contemporary artworks by international artists give the apartment its own distinctive personality. One particularly special piece is the elegant Edwardian ladies' writing desk in the sitting room, which guests are welcome to use with care.

Outside, the terrace is a delightful place to relax, complete with an unexpected touch of whimsy in the form of a gilded Rococo-style sofa. Whether you're enjoying a leisurely breakfast, an evening drink or simply reading in the sunshine, it offers a peaceful retreat.

We believe that genuine comfort matters. Quality mattresses, fine linens and a well-equipped kitchen ensure you'll have everything needed for a relaxing stay. If there's anything missing, we're always happy to help.

One of the apartment's greatest pleasures is its location. Within minutes you can wander over West Hill into the heart of Hastings Old Town, renowned for its independent restaurants, welcoming pubs, galleries, boutiques and independent cinema. The historic fishing beach, famous for its iconic black net huts, the promenade, bathing beaches and the acclaimed Hastings Contemporary gallery are all within an easy walk.

Following the seafront westwards brings you to Hastings Pier, the world's largest indoor skatepark, the vibrant beachside atmosphere of Goat Ledge, and fashionable St Leonards, celebrated for its independent cafés, excellent restaurants, stylish shops and the renowned Kino-Teatr, offering cinema, live music, exhibitions and outstanding dining.

Just a short drive, bus or train journey away, Bexhill is home to the celebrated De La Warr Pavilion and the fascinating motoring collection at Bexhill Museum.

Whether you're visiting for coastal walks, swimming, exceptional food, art, history or simply a restorative few days beside the sea, this elegant Regency home offers a peaceful and distinctive base from which to experience the very best of Hastings and the Sussex coast.
