Brand new for the end of 2026, be among the first to stay! Nestled in the picturesque Wiltshire village of Seend, The Hay Barn combines contemporary comfort with rural charm, making it an ideal choice for couples, families and friends.



Guests are welcomed into a bright open-plan living space, featuring a comfortable lounge, dining area and fully equipped modern kitchen, providing everything needed for a relaxing self-catering stay.



The barn sleeps four across two bedrooms, with one super king-size room and one twin room. The twin beds can be arranged as a king-size bed on request, offering flexible accommodation for families, couples or friends.



The modern bathroom features a walk-in shower, WC and wash basin. Fresh towels are provided, although hot tub towels are not included.



Outside, enjoy your own private terrace to the rear of the barn, with outdoor seating and a private hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Wiltshire.



Located just a two-minute walk from the Kennet & Avon Canal, The Hay Barn is well placed for visiting Devizes, Caen Hill Locks, Lacock Abbey, Avebury, Stonehenge, Longleat Safari Park and the historic city of Bath. With countryside walks, traditional pubs and local attractions nearby, it's an excellent base for exploring the best of Wiltshire.

What a great find

What a great find. Thanks to Sarah & Paul. Lovely house, great spot, amazing hot tub and couldn’t ask for a more relaxing holiday. Cheddar Gorge was great. Bath was lovely. Good quality pub grub at both The Barge Inn & the 3 Magpies. The well at Bulkington was exceptional. The Caen locks are a must see. Many thanks again to Sarah & Paul.

We have had a wonderful week in lovely Wiltshire.

Such a nice comfortable place to stay with everything we needed. Also super clean and tidy. Bed was super comfortable and we loved the hot tub! Garden. Perfect for relaxing in after a hard day’s walking. Kitchen really well equipped with everything we needed. We went for some lovely meals – The Langley Tap – Sunday roast was superb. The New Inn also really good hearty pub food. We loved the walk from the house, along the canal, to the Barge Pub. All in all a lovely stay!

Our stay at The Hay Barn

We were one of the first few families lucky enough to stay at The Hay Barn and would recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area. The accommodation was new and was spotlessly clean. Its location was ideal for visiting Stonehenge and Bath and whilst it is situated in peaceful countryside, it was also only a few minutes’ drive away from local supermarkets. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax at the end of a day of walking and seeing the local sights. Having the use of an iron and ironing board.

Lovely little place

Ah what a lovely little place to stay! We’ve had the best time. The Hay Barn’s absolutely perfect. Spent our days out sightseeing, then back for a chill out, tea and then into the hot tub. We’ve been to Stonehenge, the Roman Baths, and Cheddar Gorge, all really easy to drive to from here. Love the hot tub. It’s great of an evening when it’s much cooler night temperatures, and it’s great to relax in it in the dark. Many thanks to Sarah for providing such a lovely place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the towns.

What a lovely find. Near the canal and a pub in each direction.

The house was great. All new and quality furniture. Bed very comfortable. The barn is huge. Hot tub a delight. Highly recommend. Great for seeing Bath, cheddar gorge and Stonehenge. You must see the Caen locks near Devizes. A side table for the chair would be great. Toiletries in the bathroom would help. Shame there is not a door to the garden and hot tub.

Thank you Sarah and Paul for a lovely and relaxing stay in your beautiful Hay Barn. You have thought of everything to make it a real home from home in which to switch off and take full advantage of the many dog-friendly walks, right on the doorstep. We loved Marlborough, Bradford-on-Avon and walked right along the canal past all the locks to Devizes! (11 miles!) We also enjoyed meals at The Barge Inn, The Three Magpies, as well as a delicious Sunday lunch at The Langley Tap, Chippenham, which we would highly recommend. The hot tub was a very welcome bonus at the end of a long day exploring. Great to have the little touches like the wine too. Thank you for everything!

What a truly wonderful stay!

What a truly wonderful stay! We feel so lucky to have been the first guests in this gorgeous countryside cabin. We felt completely at home. There is so much to enjoy here as a family – beautiful countryside, plenty of places to walk our dog. The accommodation is absolutely lovely, peaceful and full of thoughtful touches. It is the perfect place to slow down and spend some quality time together and make lots of memories. A huge thank you to our lovely hosts who were so lovely, welcoming and helpful. We would love to return one day and would happily recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing countryside break. Thank you for letting us be your first guests.
