You'll Never Want to Stay in a Hotel Again !!!

Our clean, warm, & inviting condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and all of the comforts of home. The living room has a sofa and loveseat, as well as cable TV, and usually a DVD player for you to relax with. The dining areas are comfortable for meal times with the family.

The Master Suite which is separated from the other bedrooms includes a kingbed, TV with cable and a walk-in closet and its own full bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has sleeping arrangements consisting of twin beds.

The condo also features a fully equipped kitchen: full size refrigerator with oven/flat top burners, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker dishes, utensils, silverware, pots, and pans etc. full size washer, and dryer in unit, just beyond the living room is the lanai for your morning coffee and fresh air.

While we try and provide each guest with everything they will need, there are some items that are not provided in the homes.

While bath and hand towels are provided, you may want to bring your own beach towels and wash cloths as these are not provided in the homes.
Starters of toilet paper, and soap are provided, but you may need to supply more of these as your journey progresses. In addition, any basic toiletry items such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, etc. must also be provided by the guest, as well as grocery supplies.

Amenities Galore here at Windsor Hills. Windsor Hills offers the highest level of comfort for your vacation dollar. The privacy gated Windsor Hills Resort Community caters to the vacationer`s every need!

The spacious clubhouse includes a luxury water park pool with fountains, waterslides and a spa, as well as a zero-entry pool that`s perfect for toddlers. There is also a children`s playground, community grilling area, tennis courts and sand volleyball.

In addition to the many exciting amenities offered by the Windsor Hills Resort, you`ll also find everything you need in your condo to make you feel right at home.

Review

The condo was inside the gates of the resort to my surprise but we were happy it was the bottom floor. The king sized bed was very uncomfortable very hard and the leaf blower and lawn mower people were starting that early before 7 am. Everything else was good .

The condo was clean, kitchen was stocked with things you needed, quiet area, complex secure and grounds beautiful with foliage. Easy parking around your condo. The living room and bedrooms had televisions with cable and streaming services. The bathrooms and bedrooms were comfortable, very clean and had tons of room. Decorations were towards Disney which were cute and nice for younger kids. The pool area with the slides, kids water park and large pool was very nice, busy, but seemed like room for everyone. The spa was always busy so didn't try it out. They also had a game room, exercise room and kitchen for food by pool. I would recommend the condo to others who are looking for accommodations in the area.

Scam

The property wasn't even the same as what was listed. Different wall art, linens furniture. First, we were not made aware that the office was undergoing construction. It took almost 30 minutes driving and walking around the area at night to find our way through the scaffolding to locate the office behind it all. Entering the property, the smell was a mix of wet/ dirty clothes... actually the old, stained carpet that still had food and other unknown materials stuck within it's fibers. You could tell that they never vacuumed the carpet near the baseboards. The air conditioning was crap, making the smell worse. The sliding door to the porch was not locked at atrival and, on a ground floor, anyone could've walked right in. It did not come with the rod to secure the sliding door. The master bed was so worn down, there is a large bump in the middle and it sinks in on each side. Pillows were flat and the linens were worn down. Kids room was even worse as there were collections of dead bugs behind the bed stand. Speaking of bugs, it is infested with cockroaches. Not only were we killing them every day, we could see cockroach dust throughout the property. Going on: the coffee pot didn't work, there were no trash bags, not even one inside the kitchen trash can. There were not dish washing pods or dish soap, no dish rags or scrubbers, only one small bar of hand soap, and no laundry soap. The day after arrival, I messaged the Palm Tree admin via the VRBO app requesting towels and dishwasher soap. The respondent, Ian, said "hopefully they're in the dryer" and that's it. I did find the towels in the dryer, an odd thing to have to do the owners laundry. The next day, after returning from the theme parks, I found they had brought in dishwasher pods but never announced they were entering the property or even said they were planning to bring them by. The fridge had black spots behind the handle which, upon closer inspection, proved to be mold. Even basic cleanliness was abandoned at this place. After 3 days I was getting no response via messages or phone calls. We couldn't take it and cut our vacation short by 3 nights without a guarantee of refund. Finally got a single message saying the 3 nights would be refunded which I have yet to receive. The ONLY good parts of this experience was the pool and the realization that I need to be better prepared for scams like this.

Perfect for 4

Great property, clean, simple and mostly comfortable (except king bed mattress extremely worn and uneven). Location excellent. Amenities perfect for family. Only thing, property listed for 6 but condo has beds for 4 and table for 4. Otherwise, lack of kitchen supplies when we arrived but very quickly fixed when owner was contacted by text. All the missing items arrived new the next day. Wonderful service.

Great Location - TERRIBLE Bed

The price and location/proximity to Disney can't be beaten! The pool area is wonderful for kids. The condo itself was clean enough but not super well stocked (ie no paper towels, no dish soap, coffee maker was broken). The master bed is TERRIBLE. Hard as a rock! A cheap mattress topper would be such an easy fix!!

Location is amazing

The first VRBO in 3 years where I had to drive to a 2nd location to be given the 4 digit code for the condo door (why?). It's a very dated unit and it feel likes a college bachelor pad. There aren't enough pots to fix supper for a family of 4. Dishes are mismatched. We were provided 1 garbage bag for 5 days and 4 night stay and 1 roll toilet paper per bathroom. Several items in the home wouldn't work and light fixtures had burned out bulbs. But that's the negative. Positives= steps away from the pool, 12 minutes from Disney All Star Sport resort, 15 minutes from Disney ESPN, ~20 minutes to Animal Kingdom. WalMart is less than 2 miles. Huge variety of restaurants and shopping in the area. You cannot beat this location!

Great service, unimpressive unit

The cleanliness of this particular unit was very poor, and numerous other things went wrong with it while there- AC had to have a repairman fix it, ceiling fan was replaced while we were there, dryer ran for endless hours before drying, and tiny bugs in the kitchen. HOWEVER, the Windsor Hills community was beautiful, the pool was awesome, and the management team was spot on. They were there within hours to fix the AC, and they replaced the fan the next morning. They were very responsive. As we walked the neighborhood, we saw several more updated units that appeared to be very well kept. Ours was not well cleaned before we were there. I would highly recommend Windsor Hills, just perhaps not this unit.

A weeks stay

Bed was hard and needed a new coffee maker. We stood the week and I have no other complaints. Considering the amenities it was well worth the stay. I would stay again.

Amazing but the sleep was hard!

1.This condo is in the perfect spot! 2.It's clean but not perfect; however, the price was!! 3.Nothing is supplied so grab some kitchen and bathroom needs before you arrive. (This was announced In the description) 4. The property, location, people, pool... everything was GREAT. 5. The kicker!! The bed is HORRIBLE!! I saw the review in 2018 about the bed and figured it was most likely changed or fixed by 2021, NOPE. We left a day early just so we wouldn't have to sleep on it! The kids beds were fine, but as a tired traveling parent.. we just wish to sleep after our long days. This was not a good sleep and hurt so bad in the mornings. We would love to stay at this condo again if the bed gets a upgrade. So many have slept on it it feels like sleeping on a box-spring. Some do like the XXHard mattress, but I feel I should warn some of the tired moms. So many pros!! So close to the pool and price was great. Very Clean, kitchen could use a kitchen spout as it comes off while using it, but all-in-all we are here to have fun and sleep and do it again. Great communication and will 100% stay on the property and will 100% ask each time about the bed because we love the location and bottom floor. Thank you!! Sorry we had to leave a night early. 😴😨

We enjoyed our stay. The pool and water slides were great, and the arcade and gym area were very nice. Overall, the unit was clean and well equipped. It could use some updating, but there was nothing that hindered our stay. It is very close to Disney so of course it is a busy area.

Nice pool area, dated condo

The pool area was perfect for kids. The main pool was heated to a temperature that allowed kids to swim for a long time. The splash pad and water slides are not heated, which meant a lot less time was spent there than expected. The condo is very close to the pool area which is nice. The condo itself is very worn and dated. Needs to be patched/painted/repaired/updated in a lot of ways. If that doesn't matter to you then this is your spot, but if you don't want 15+ year old carpet and a bent front door handle (a couple of many examples) then look elsewhere. The provisions are minimal. You get a bath towel per person, but no hand towels, wash cloths, hand soap, paper towels, garbage bags, laundry detergent, or toilet paper beyond what's on the roll. The power also went out for 4 hours at the whole property (but not the surrounding area) while we were there, so that wasn't ideal either.

Check in is not on the property but in a shopping strip, The condo has the very basic supplies. Two towels no wash cloths in master. Old coffee machine, Beds were like sleeping on boards, so hard. The place needs remodeled. Would not rent it again,

Convenient to Disney

Great location close to everything including Disney. The pullout couch was too uncomfortable to use. The bedrooms would be better with curtains. The thermostat was set to not go below 75, so in 100 degree heat it was too warm in the condo. We were just there at night to sleep so it was fine except for being warm at night and waking up early with the sunlight coming though the blinds.

Nice apartment close to Disney with all necessary amenities

Very nice apartment on first floor with a patio in a gated community! Close to Disney (10 - 15 min drive depending on traffic). Perfect if you go with kids! Washing machine, dryer, dish washer is available. You have access to the shared pool and hot tub which was very relaxing after a hot day walking in the parks. Please don't forget checking the email you provided here after booking this apartment. You will get separate instructions from Palmtree Vacation Homes where to pick up the documents needed to be granted access to the property and get your access card to open the gates from the security officers. They will not let you in without those documents!

Perfect location close to all the Disney parks!

My friends and I completely enjoyed our stay! The condo was clean, comfortable, and minutes away from all the Disney parks. I have stayed in this area every time I come to Orlando and have never been disappointed. I'm not sure if this was just our GPS, but we had trouble finding the specific building to check in as our GPS said the address given covered an entire strip mall so this was confusing. This is just a heads up to anyone staying here who has a little trouble finding the building too.

Nice place and close to the parks

This unit was clean and well maintained. After this visit I will never stay in a hotel again. Windsor Hills is very close to the Disney parks. The only thing I didn't like was that the air could not be turned below 76 degrees, and my family needs it a little cooler.

Great for a Family Disney & Universal Studios Vacation

My wife and I and our teenage daughter stayed here for 6 nights. A few minutes from Disney and 30 minutes from Universal, the location is great. The check in process was quick and easy and the apartment was clean and ready for us. Our only complaint would be the beds - very hard mattresses. Everything else is great. We enjoyed our stay and would book this rental again. Thanks!

Good Location BUT Lacked Comfort Factor

Great location, close to Disney. Nice heated pool. However, this unit was lacking comfort. All mattresses were poor quality. Master bed mattress was in poor shape with a lump in the middle & 2 sunken sections on each side. Pillows were old, squishy & stained. Temperature control was locked & unit was warm with humidity. Otherwise okay. Take your own wash clothes & anything you need (laundry soap, dish soap, salt/pepper, paper towels, toilet paper), etc. No extras in this unit.

I will rent to this one again next time!

Location is good. Close to disney world. The condominium is what my family needed. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen. I was able to cook breakfast before heading to disney and cook late night grilled cheese. The place is clean (except for a pillow that has stains). Good thing I brought my own pillow cases. I feel secure knowing this is located in a gated community.

The property was amazing and is very well kept!

Our family absolutely loved Windsor Hills! The Unit was very clean and it was huge! The kids loved the heated swimming pool, even when it was 55° outside! Last year we stayed at Bonnet Creek when we went to Disney, but now we'll be staying at Windsor Hills from now on.

My Travel JAN 2013

The listing description could be more precise in special about the facilities inside the property. The property was clean, and I suggest as a "gift", that the owner provide salt and sugar. We had to buy one kilo grams in less than 1 week stay. But I’m pretty sure to recommend to a friend or relative. There are many activities and facilities near the condo, included markets and good restaurants. The place is beautiful, quiet and secure. We've loved our stay.
