The house is great! Nice area to all be together. Nice big kitchen. The walk to the beach is the best. It is so close to little haystack rock and the creek. Our grandkids had a blast!!

Beautiful house had to wait a half hour past the check in time for the cleaners to finish up. After checked in the house was everything we hoped for over the weekend with easy access to the beach just a few minutes walk away.

Super friendly and responsive host. House was exactly as expected, nice and comfortable, clean, with great amenities upon arrival (like nice toilet paper and tissues!). Super close to the beach and an entrance to the Oregon Coast trail. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Tired. Not very clean, microwave smelled of bacon, neither coffee pot worked, broken kitchen pendant light shade, moldy rings on table, hadn’t been dusted, windows full of bugs, house smelled musty and a racoon that crawled all over the roof from 12:00 am to 3:00 am nightly. The Wi-Fi being out was a hassle, though the host compensated with a free dinner out, which was very nice.On upside the walk to beach and beach were superb. The host was responsive and nice. But for the price, we would not return.

The Hosts were great. Responded quickly and handled everything promptly. The house is in a great spot and a quick walk to the beach. The Kitchen is stocked well for cooking. The beach is beautiful and we cannot wait to go back.

This was our first family trip. With two little ones going to a new location I was stressed enough… but when I got to this property, all that melted away. The home was cozy but very spacious. It was so close to the beach too which made it easy. The hosts had a plethora of beach toys and accessories available for us to use. Also they had kiddo plates and silverware as well as a playpen. The beds were super comfortable as well. Highly recommend. Will def come back

The house was clean, comfortable, and the perfect get away spot for the family! We were able to walk to both the beach and the hiking trail from the house. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and cooking utensils and we enjoyed barbecuing on the porch. The kitchen table is nice and big to fit our large group. The owners were very responsive, 2 of the living room lights were not functioning and they sent someone out right away to fix it. I would definitely come back again!!

Lots of open space. Kitchen was great to cook in. King beds were very comfy but the double beds were very squeeky/creaky, so not too comfortable for the 2 adults that shared one. Really great location. Would definitely stay again.

The kitchen was well stocked with all the cookware and measuring tools. The dish cleaning soap was a Full bottle of full strength soap. Enough for our long week. Plenty of table settings too. A little shy on spoons for the table, but we made it work. You won't be disappointed!

Quick spring break getaway

Ocean getaway

We had a lovely stay in Arch Cape. The house had plenty of room for all of us. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Even a beach wagon to haul all our stuff down to the beach for camp fires each night.

Amenities were fantastic. Reason for mediocre rating is the house was actually not on the beach, you have to walk across or under a highway to get there. The beach is beautiful and quiet though. Also, the list of required cleaning prior to leaving is insane considering there is a 230 cleaning fee plus 50/dog/night fee. Over 600 in fees made this not worth it for us.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We truly appreciate you staying with us and I’m sorry parts of your experience didn’t meet expectations. We do try to be very clear in our listing that the beach is about a 4 minute walk, and that there is a $50 per animal/ night pet fee with preapproval required. Since we weren’t notified about the dogs until the day of arrival, it did make things a bit last minute on our end, but we are always happy to accommodate when we can. We also don't require cleaning from our guests. We do ask for help starting a load of towels and cleaning the grill if it was used to assist with turnover time, but only if you have time before you check out. We appreciate your feedback and hope you were still able to enjoy your time away.
