The house is amazing, even better than the pictures. We stayed here for a family reunion at Desoto Park. There was plenty of room for our whole family. The beds were comfy, the 3 kitchens were well stocked and the outdoor area was absolutely amazing. The coded entry made it very easy to come and go. We enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful wedding ceremony here. The owner is very attentive and quick to respond. The property was absolutely beautiful and we couldn't be happier with how everything went . I highly recommend staying here whether its for a wedding or just for a family gathering. Its very serene and relaxing. The property is absolutely gorgeous. The pictures do not do it justice at all . Thank you again for a wonderful wedding weekend!

The Lodge was perfect for our big family, especially the kiddos. They had plenty of room to play and loved being in the pool. The pavilion was so enjoyable for games and evening activities. Everything was clean and comfortable. Jeff was the perfect host. He was friendly and my family loved the times he would stop for a chat. My adult kids had a blast playing corn hole, four square, soccer, and frisbee.The beds were comfortable. The kitchens were easy to work in. We had everything we needed for our family celebration. Thank you Jeff, your place was a huge hit with our family. We hope to come back next year.

Wow! This is an amazing cabin property. The cabin is massive and I mean MASSIVE. It's got so many bedrooms, so many bathrooms (master bath with jacuzzi tub!), not one but two kitchens, three living rooms, huge porches to sit in rocking chairs in the cool of the evening or the heat of the day. Up the mountain yet just five minutes to downtown Fort Payne. We stayed for a week while working on a project in Fort Payne and our entire team was thrilled with this cabin. The beds are huge! The upstairs kitchen has a big counter top bar to sit and socialize. It's quiet, tucked back away from the road, and boy did we sleep well! Jeff, the host, couldn't have been nicer, and he's invisible unless you need him. There are not enough words to express just how incredible this cabin is. It's great for weddings because it's set up allows for a different family at each end of the cabin -- on both floors! Thanks, Jeff, for the terrific stay!

Excellent Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our church young adults retreat here! It was stocked better than any other house we have stayed at. The location was secluded but still close to town. We plan to stay here again in the future if possible!

Best host ever. Built us a bonfire one night in the fabulous large firepit. Beautiful home and plenty of space for our family of 9. Everyone had their own area. Very convenient to Ft. Payne and Mentone. Would love to stay again.

Hidden Gem

This was a beautiful property that seemed isolated in the country, but was only about 10 minutes from town. We thoroughly enjoyed our family reunion here and look forward to visiting again!

Wonderful!

All and all it was a beautiful experience for my family gathering! The cabin was beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations! It was a beautiful cabin! I will certainly and my family will come back again soon!

Exceeds Expectations!!

We brought our staff up for a getaway and was greatly pleased with the accommodations! Plenty of room to spread out but also a great space for being all together. And the outside area is fantastic with plenty of seating & eating areas plus games to play. Great for a large families, gathering of friends, or small staff & spouse retreat. We will be booking again in the future!!

Wonderful

This property was exactly what we needed and more. Beautiful home with every amenity you could think of. We had a church ladies retreat with 20 ladies. It was such a fabulous weekend.
