☼ Maine Lakefront Getaway ☼

Our beautiful Maine lakefront getaway offers all the modern conveniences in a traditional camp-style three bedroom home on the shore of pristine Sabbath Day Lake, a 1.5 mile lake in the Sebago Lakes region.

Enjoy beautiful sunsets and stunning views of the lake from our two decks, living room, kitchen and bedroom. We have a main bedroom upstairs with king-size bed and private bathroom, a bedroom on the ground floor with queen-size bed and private bathroom, and a loft area upstairs with two single beds.

We have a private beach area (size depends on water level of lake) and a shared private beach with nearby homes. Enjoy swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, standup paddle boards or just sit back and listen to the loons and look for our bald eagles. Modern conveniences include a/c, dishwasher, wi-fi, washer/dryer, microwave, 50-inch TV, small office space. Newly renovated kitchen and bathrooms.

You’ll never want to leave the camp, but if you do, we are just 24 miles from Portland, 17 miles from Freeport, and minutes from the Maine Wildlife Park, Sabbathday Lake Shaker Village, Pineland Farms, and the Oxford Casino. We are also just minutes away from golf courses, shopping and restaurants.

Very clean and convenient location. We enjoyed our stay at this cute lake house. The stairs to get to the second floor were a bit scary but we just walked very slowly up and down them! Comfortable beds and beautiful views.

Location was great. Lake was fairly quiet with not much boat traffic making it easy to kayak and paddleboard. Kitchen was well-equipped with pots and pans, kitchen utensils, dishes, condiments. Master bed and bath seemed recently renovated. The camp in general needs a little work. Close to 3 golf courses and grocery store.

We had a great week. The house has a great view of the lake, with beautiful sunsets. 3 kayaks, a canoe, and 2 paddle boards were available to explore Sabbathday Lake’s loons and eagle. Comfortable beds with a great master, although one must walk through one of the upstairs bedrooms to get there. There are pretty good food options (at least for breakfast/lunch) and a Henneford’s grocery store nearby. We went to dinner in Portland 3 times (30-35 minutes away).

Family vacation

The property on the lake was just what we needed. We enjoyed coffee and reading on the deck and dock. It was wonderful to use the kayaks and paddle boards. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the cooking tools you could need. It is close by many great things to visit.

We purchased this home to be near our darling new granddaughter in Portland and now we are blessed to have a second granddaughter! We love Portland, the Maine coast, and lakefront vacations. We graciously open up our home to you to share the beauty and relaxation of Maine lakefront living.

We fell in love with this place as soon as we saw it. The stunning views and private, easy access to the lake were everything we ever wanted in a vacation home.
