A privately accessible basement apartment in a quiet and well cared for neighborhood. Within walking distance of the Iliinois Prairie Path and less than a mile from primary arterials to the western suburbs and O'Hare airport.

Beautiful location

The property was very nice. The apartment was clean and furnished with everything you could possibly need. Very private and outdoor area was very nice. I would recommend this property to anyone who needs a vacation rental

Good home base for DuPage County

Overall, this basement apartment offered a good, convenient location for visiting friends, doctors and hospitals in the greater Wheaton/Winfield locale. The hosts were very amiable and helpful with advice and fixing the inevitable small problems that arise in any rental (light bulbs, batteries, etc.). There are a couple of problems that impacted our stay. The apartment smells noticeably of cigarette smoke. We ran the air conditioning most of the time, but the smell did not go away. Also, this is not really a ground floor apartment, but a basement apartment. You have to go down 7 steps below ground level to get to the front door, and you look out at ground level. The three front windows look out under the deck of the upper house and never let in any light so the place is dark. We would recommend this place for short visits.

Very Clean Modern and great Neighborhood

Very Nice. The Apartment is Meticulously Clean, Spacious, and Modern. Also in a great neighborhood which is only a few years old. A special note on the decorating. It is beautiful. It would get 5 stars except we are non-smokers and the smell of smoke from upstairs filters down to the apartment.
